General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, October 28, tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will threaten Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) seems upset over Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) marriage proposal. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also play the blame game, so here’s what fans can expect.
At the boxing gym, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will have a strange feeling about the guy who was pumping her for information outside Kelly’s – especially since he was asking so many questions about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Now Portia’s starting to realize this could be the same man who was grilling TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) about Curtis at the hospital. She’ll find all of this unsettling, so Curtis will think they need to stay on guard.
This mystery man told TJ his name was “Marshall” (Robert Gossett), but he seemed to be making it up on the spot.
Regardless, Portia and Curtis will put their heads together as they try to nail down who this guy is and why he’s so curious about Curtis’ life.
It sounds like Curtis’ dad isn’t so dead after all, but that bomb won’t drop until down the road.
In the meantime, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will mull over the deal Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) just offered her.
Nikolas can score Alexis a pardon, but he suggested that’ll go away if they insist on bringing this cloud of Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) hit suspicion against him.
Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will think there’s only one thing to do and will likely push Alexis to take the deal.
Shawn may argue it’s more important for Alexis to reunite with her family than it is for him to get justice.
However, Alexis may not be so quick to let Nikolas off the hook. She’ll make a big decision on Thursday, so that could involve turning down Nikolas’ offer – though Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) will push Alexis to accept it down the road.
Until then, let’s talk about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and her regrets – at least the ones she’ll want Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) to believe she has. “I would give anything to take them back,” Esme says outside Kelly’s on Thursday’s preview video.
Esme could be referring to her own transgressions in this stalker mess. Regardless, it’ll be interesting to see if Ava buys what Esme’s selling. So far, Ava seems to be buying Esme’s act, but that could change once she gets to know her a bit better.
On the other hand, Ava might see a little of her scheming self in Esme and hope she can guide her down a less risky path.
As for Nikolas, he’ll show up and see that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is now a server at Kelly’s. Spencer will ask if Nikolas wants a table or if he’s just there to gloat.
Nikolas will assure Spencer that he truly wants to repair their father-son bond.
Nikolas won’t be interested in making Spencer any more miserable than he already is and will truly hope they can find a way forward, but that way forward must include Ava.
Other GH spoilers say Michael won’t get the marriage proposal response he was counting on. Michael popped the question after his fight with Willow, so she may worry this is some attempt to placate her.
“That’s not the reason I asked you to marry me,” Michael insists in Thursday’s preview clip.
It’s safe to say the romance will officially be killed – not that it was a very romantic moment to begin with! Willow surely deserves a better marriage proposal than that, so let’s hope she turns Michael down.
As for Nina, she’ll talk to Carly about how Sonny was better off living in Nixon Falls.
Carly obviously won’t agree and will think Nina’s got a perpetual victim mentality. She’ll act like Nina’s doing a “poor me” routine, but Nina will suggest Carly’s a hypocrite who won’t stop stirring the pot.
Finally, Sonny will accept the charges and take the call he just received from Cyrus in prison.
“What do you want?” Sonny demands to know in Thursday’s preview video.
Now that Cyrus knows Sonny is alive, he may want to remind him that they have a score to settle.
Cyrus might argue that Sonny would’ve been safer living in that sleepy Pennsylvania town and add that prison walls won’t stop what’s coming!
