General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, April 13, teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will play hardball with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Peter claims someone Anna cares about will die if she doesn’t grant him freedom, but Valentin and Anna will call his bluff at first. They’ll hope Peter’s just trying to talk his way out of a tight spot.
Nevertheless, Peter will share enough details to convince Anna and Valentin that the danger is very real. After Peter opens up about his deadly scheme, he’ll insist the only way it can be stopped is if Valentin and Anna let him go.
General Hospital spoilers say Anna and Valentin will have to discuss their next steps since someone’s life is at stake. Naturally, Peter must assume Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) got the poisoned mug as planned.
Peter probably think Finn’s getting sick as they speak, but it’s Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) who clearly got the tainted cup and is fading fast.
Chase dreamed Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) asked if she could move back in, but he woke up to realize his visitor wasn’t real. However, Chase is about to get a different visitor in the flesh.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will get on Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) last nerve at the Quartermaine mansion, so Brook Lynn will seek refuge elsewhere.
Based on Tuesday’s GH preview video, it seems Brook Lynn will show up at Chase’s door looking for his friendship and a place to vent.
Chase will worry about the trouble another character might’ve landed in. There’s a good chance that character will be Brook Lynn, who’s indeed in over her head due to this fake pregnancy plot she’s cooked up.
Chase doesn’t know Brook Lynn’s secret, but she may hope she can get some form of advice anyway.
Of course, Brook Lynn’s problems will have to take a backseat since Chase’s illness is about to take center stage. General Hospital spoilers say Chase will keel over and lose consciousness, so that could give Brook Lynn quite a shock.
Maybe Brook Lynn will call 911 and make sure an ambulance gets over there to deal with the emergency.
Chase will be taken to GH soon, so he’ll have to undergo treatment – that is once the doctors figure out what’s causing his mysterious symptoms! It could take some work to figure out Chase was poisoned and that Finn was meant to be the original victim.
Even so, Anna will no doubt crack the case with Valentin’s help eventually. Until then, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will consider Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) offer.
Michael will note that they don’t have to stay in separate places anymore, but he’ll have a better idea than Willow moving back in the Quartermaine mansion.
Michael will wonder how Willow would feel about him moving in the gatehouse with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
This would allow them all to have some privacy as a family – and Wiley’s other loved ones at the Quartermaine mansion wouldn’t be too far away.
Willow will probably be on board, but she might think they’re ignoring the elephant in the room. Michael may have split from Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), but Willow hasn’t parted ways with Chase yet.
Willow owes Chase the truth about her feelings before she takes any other steps toward building a new life with Michael.
It’s easy to imagine Willow wondering how she’ll find a way to say goodbye – only to realize Chase is dying at the hospital! Willow’s fears could shift to worrying she’ll have to say goodbye permanently.
Once horrifying news hits, Willow’s breakup plans won’t be nearly as important as whether Chase will survive.
Thankfully, we know Chase will indeed pull through this difficult ordeal. Peter might have an antidote he can provide in exchange for being set free. Regardless, there’ll be some other drama playing out at GH due to Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) warning.
Liesl will lash out at Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) for being up and about.
Since Obrecht assumes Maxie just had a baby crisis, she’ll blast Maxie for being out of bed and will order her back in it.
Maxie and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) made a pact to tell only each other their scheme to fake Baby Lou’s death. With that in mind, Liesl should be left in the dark on that part.
However, Obrecht might at least find out Britt and Maxie are working to keep Peter away until the baby’s born. It wouldn’t hurt to tell Liesl they’re trying to buy some time, especially since Obrecht could hover and create problems otherwise.
As for Britt, she’ll battle doubts about this dangerous plot and the potential for Maxie to land in harm’s way. Maxie will encourage Britt to trust her on this. She’ll feel like she’s in control and can avoid giving the upper hand to Peter, but that may be wishful thinking!
Over with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll stop by Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) new nightclub and give him plenty of praise for the work he’s done. Finn will extend an offer on Tuesday, but he’ll quickly wonder if he’s been turned down.
This may not be a great time considering Curtis just had a divorce talk with Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).
Finn may think they can be in the lonely broken hearts club together! He’s in a similar boat since he also broke up with Anna due to deception and broken trust. Finn and Curtis can bond over the secretive women in their lives and how they both feel moving on is what they have to do.
At GH, Jordan will cross paths with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and offer updates on her latest conversation with Curtis. Portia may insist she’s still hoping for Curtis and Jordan’s reconciliation, but Jordan will insist they’re over for good.
Despite Portia’s attempt to offer sympathy, she’ll no doubt be thinking about her own chance at a future with Curtis – even if it’s just in the back of her mind!
General Hospital spoilers say Portia and Curtis will indeed grow closer, so stay tuned to see how Jordan handles that. CDL’s where you want to be for fantastic General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so make us your GH hotspot.
