General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 31, teases that we’ll see Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) camping closeness while Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) revenge list brings growing fears. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also go on their first date, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Tuesday’s sizzling show.
During their camping trip, Violet will open up to Finn and seek a vow from her daddy. Finn will happily offer it – and he’ll find time to deepen his connection to Liz during this excursion as well.
As for Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), she’ll encourage Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) to have some faith in her.
Jordan will hope to establish trust so that they can work together on the Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) shooter investigation, so Shawn will have to take that leap.
Next, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will wonder how they can be certain Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) file contains legit details.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) might admit it’s impossible to know for sure, but that’s just another reason to investigate the matter further.
They need to look into the Creighton-Clark link they’ve uncovered since it’s their first real Drew clue.
Other GH spoilers say Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will earn Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) gratitude and approval.
Trina will do her part to help Joss pull off a surprise dinner for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), so they’ll have some fun putting it together.
Josslyn and Trina will come up with a fantastic menu – one that just might include a secret ingredient from Nixon Falls. Trina has perhaps been saving the sauce she scored for a special occasion.
That’s the sauce “Mike” aka Sonny made, so Josslyn could recognize her stepdad’s usual flavor combo once she tastes it.
Meanwhile, Nina will be unsettled over Sonny’s updates. She won’t understand why “Mike” would ask fish for identity details from Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but Sonny may admit it was just based on a feeling he had.
Sonny thought Peter might’ve recognized him based on his initial reaction, but Nina may lie that it’s impossible.
Regardless, it won’t be too hard for Nina to distract Sonny since they’re about to have their first official date. Nina will get swept up in the romance of it all, but she can’t avoid the reality of the situation forever.
Sonny is Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) husband, so Nina’s playing with fire by keeping a secret that’s destined to come out and cause serious backlash.
For now, Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will focus on Cyrus and the move he’s about to make. They’ll consider the idea that Cyrus has partnered with one of the five families and could be coming for the Corinthos clan soon.
Cyrus is indeed out for revenge on the people who he feels wronged him, so he could have quite a list to tackle!
As for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) trip, it’ll continue to go horribly wrong.
Some henchmen will storm in and take Obrecht as their new captive. They won’t need Scott, so he’ll be chucked right off the plane – though he’ll survive and won’t be too badly injured.
General Hospital spoilers say Obrecht’s disappearance will cause concern for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) by midweek, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
