General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 7, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will put Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to the test while Peter August (Wes Ramsey) delivers a scary threat. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also slam Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) during a conversation with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
In the hospital chapel, Nina will continue to gush over how special her relationship with Sonny was in Nixon Falls. It was wrong, but that doesn’t mean Nina can regret finding the purest love she’s ever known.
GH spoilers say Sonny will do something to test that love on Tuesday – perhaps by arguing that if their love truly meant something to Nina, she’ll let him go. Sonny has been more lenient with the rules lately, but he may revisit the idea of distance and argue that it’s for the best right now.
Whatever the case, Sonny and Nina have made a massive blunder by discussing their Nixon Falls love with the door cracked open. That allowed Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to hear all about what Nina and Sonny are hiding from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
It won’t be long until Willow scampers off and runs into Carly as well as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Willow may contemplate coming clean, especially when Carly notices something’s wrong.
Michael will also pick up on Willow’s strange behavior, but it seems the topic of Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) death will come up and delay any confession Willow might make. Nina is set to ask for a huge favor by midweek, so it sounds like she’s on the verge of requesting Willow’s silence – at least until Sonny can break the news to Carly himself.
In the meantime, Esme will mark her territory and warn Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) that she’s not giving up Spencer. She may argue that if Trina wants a boyfriend, she’d be better off trying to steal Cameron Webber (William Lipton) away from Josslyn!
Trina definitely seems hung up on the idea of pushing Cameron and Trina together – or using the possibility to get under Josslyn’s skin and convince Spencer to back off Trina. Whatever the case, Trina will find a way to make Trina feel insecure about her love life and will no doubt feel pretty pleased with herself as a result.
Over with Josslyn, she’ll spend some time in the boxing gym with Spencer and let him know exactly what she thinks of his girlfriend! Josslyn won’t think Spencer can handle the truth, but she’ll give it anyway and may question if Esme really cares about Spencer at all.
While Esme trashes Spencer’s romance, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will push Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to clear through any red tape for her. She’ll want a visit with Peter right away, so Anna will ultimately make it happen.
Peter will be downright giddy over the chance to see Maxie and gush over their next chapter together. Of course, Maxie has no interest in any kind of future with Peter and may make that crystal clear. That’s the kind of thing that could drive Peter to offer a grim reminder.
Although Peter would prefer a life with Maxie and Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), he’ll settle for just Louise if he has to. Peter could threaten to run away with Louise once he finds her – or maybe he’ll hint about having a trick or two up his sleeve that could change Maxie’s mind.
There’s still a chance Peter might reactivate Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and cause more drama, so we’ll provide updates as other GH info emerges.
