General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, July 13 Recap – Austin Gatlin Holt’s Attack on Michael – Lenny’s Grim News

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 13, reveals that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) moved forward with an attack on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) also dumped evidence while Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) received bad news.

In the park on Tuesday’s episode, “Victor” aka Spencer ran into Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) again. Since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was giving Trina a hard time and wondering if the guy she knew was even real, Trina wanted to take a selfie as proof.

“Victor” flipped out and then tried to downplay it as just preferring to control how he looked in images out there.

Trina teased “Victor” a bit before mentioning the progress the cops had made thanks to the distinctive designer boot footprint. She pointed out that they even knew the size.

“Victor” seemed concerned about the possibility of the PCPD figuring out he was the stalker, but he tried to play it cool.

Afterward, Spencer dumped his hiking boots with fake blood on the bottom in a nearby dumpster.

At Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) place, she wrapped up a call with “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) entered.

Ava was glad that at least one of them was happy and assured Nina she wouldn’t stay in her extra room long. She wanted Nina to have the freedom to invite the mysterious “Mike” to stay with her.

Nina wasn’t keen on the idea and pointed out she wasn’t prepared to make the trip back to Nixon Falls either.

Next, Ava met up with Trina, who offered support since Ava was having her stuff moved out of Wyndemere. Trina was still rooting for Ava and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) to get back together.

Trina also mentioned “Victor” being the new guy in her life, though she admitted he hadn’t revealed his last name and was rather elusive.

Ava felt confident Trina would see “Victor” again and made plans for a day of shopping with her soon.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) felt like she should leave town since she was struggling to stay away from “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).

While Maxie was debating this with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) appeared.

Maxie acknowledged that maybe Monica was right about her needing help – and soon after, Maxie admitted the same thing to Nina at her penthouse.

Nina had her fair share of baby issues in the past and promised she wouldn’t just Maxie. She was more than willing to get Maxie help, but she had concerns based on how Maxie was talking about “Bailey.”

Nina wanted Maxie to understand that Maxie and “Bailey” weren’t the same, but Maxie got all worked up talking about how she was one with the baby.

Since Maxie was talking about leaving Port Charles, Nina worried that Maxie might try to steal “Bailey.” Maxie blurted out that it wouldn’t be stealing since she’d be bringing the baby home where she belonged.

At GH, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) acknowledged that Austin would likely be a wealthy man soon based on what they were cooking up.

Austin suggested he would keep working anyway and wasn’t concerned about Scott’s warning regarding making a move against Michael Corinthos. Austin had been ready for this for a long time.

Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Michael insisted that he didn’t want votes to become the CEO who replaced Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Michael gave his support to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) instead, so Ned talked it over with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).

Olivia assured Ned that it wasn’t the job she had a problem with. It was just that Ned got so caught up in ELQ drama before and went too far.

Ned vowed to rein it in this time and hoped he could prove himself to Olivia.

When Ned expressed his desire to try again, Olivia suggested they should take it one day at a time and embraced him.

Brook Lynn seemed pleased over the development, but a shocker struck once the ELQ meeting got underway.

Scott arrived to insist they couldn’t have this vote without all Quartermaines present. After Austin appeared, Scott let him do the honors of introducing himself.

Michael wanted to know his name, so he said he was Austin Gatlin Holt.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas was glum over Ava’s belongings being moved out. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was hopeful about the hiking boot footprint that was found. She insisted you could only buy them in a few specialty stores and not online.

Laura warned Nikolas to let the police handle the lead and avoid taunting the stalker. Nikolas was concerned about the stalker going after someone else he loved now that he’d won the Ava battle.

Laura assumed Nikolas meant Spencer and mentioned that her grandson had been off exploring the world the last she heard.

Nikolas was glad since the stalker couldn’t find Spencer, but he admitted this ordeal with Ava would be easier to bear if Nikolas were back in Port Charles. Moments later, Spencer showed up to reveal that he was home.

In Nixon Falls, Lenny and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) returned from a walk, which they admitted couldn’t distract them. The couple was nervous over Lenny’s imminent test results related to his bad heart.

While Lenny was out of the room, Sonny quizzed Phyllis to find out her gut feeling on the matter since she was a nurse. Phyllis was uncertain since the doctor didn’t offer many clues.

Sonny also admitted to lying to Nina on the phone earlier by acting like things were all good. Lenny’s doctor eventually showed up for a house call, so Sonny stepped out to give him some privacy with the Caulfields.

After Lenny was given grim news, Sonny returned and wanted to know what the doctor told him.
