General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, July 27, tease that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will face an empty freezer bombshell while Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) comes through with legal help for Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will also plot his next step, so here’s what fans can expect.
First, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will check in with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) to see how she’s feeling about “all of that.”
Trina’s been through a lot due to Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) hostage crisis and the fake blood trap on the night of her graduation party. Now there’s some teen romantic drama going on, so it’s wise for Portia to see how Trina’s holding up.
Trina is a resilient young woman, but Portia may worry that her daughter’s struggling more than she’s letting on.
Portia will no doubt want to broach the topic of her new relationship with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) carefully, but that’s still something they need to talk about. Trina will only want her mom to be happy, so that should be a relief to Portia.
In the meantime, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will seek updates on how things went for Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).
Jordan will admit she took Stella’s advice and went to talk to Curtis, but she got a clear answer when she found him locking lips with Portia.
Of course, Stella won’t think a kiss should be enough to deter Jordan completely. She’ll argue that there’s still hope if Jordan’s willing to fight for her marriage.
At GH, Liz will seek legal guidance from Scott about how the law defines justifiable homicide. Scott should be nervous over the question and wonder what mess Liz has gotten herself roped into!
Scott will help Liz as best as he can, but some shockers are looming that’ll change the game.
Next, Anna will contend that Finn couldn’t have gotten Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) body in the lab freezer alone. Finn will insist there’s nothing left to say as he works to shield Liz from trouble.
By the Metro Court pool, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will seek a favor from Curtis – one that should be connected to the search for Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).
As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll talk to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about what happened in her relationship with Jason.
Joss may guess that their friendly feelings changed and use this to set up her own news about Cameron Webber (William Lipton) – though Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is set to derail Joss’ plan soon enough.
Back with Jason, he’ll get on the phone and insist there’s something else he needs someone to do. That’ll presumably be Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who already made sure the security cameras were down during Jason’s trip to the lab.
When Anna and Finn open that freezer, Peter’s body will inevitably be missing. GH will likely make it seem like Jason already moved it, but the truth may be far more horrifying.
We know Liz will be stunned by a disturbing turn of events in the coming episodes, so that suggests Jason didn’t find the body there either!
It looks like Peter vanished before Jason, Anna or Finn ever got there, so the show will have plenty more questions to answer.
