General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, June 29, tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will be trapped for the night while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) strike a deal. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will also consider making a major commitment, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
At the Deception meeting Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) just crashed, there’ll be some awkwardness. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was trying to get rid of Maxie when a visibly pregnant Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) walked in, so now the topic will have to be addressed.
However, Maxie will no doubt insist she’s happy for Sasha and urge everyone to stop treating her like she’s made of glass.
That said, Maxie might want to bail before they get into the details of Deception’s campaign that’s marketed toward mothers and mothers-to-be.
As for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll also have a chance to discuss Sasha’s pregnancy with her. Sasha was worried about breaking the news, but Nina will likely surprise her with a sweet, supportive reaction.
Lucy and Nina will also seem excited about a new idea that Sasha apparently has to offer, so their meeting should bring some positive developments.
Back with Maxie, she’ll run into Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and struggle to believe what she hears. Brook Lynn will have some stunning updates, which will probably tie in with Valentin and Anna’s mission in Pautauk.
Speaking of that mission, Anna and Valentin are about to get stranded at the country house Austin (Roger Howarth) owns. They’ll be stuck there for the night, so look for Valentin and Anna to grow closer as they settle in.
This is building to some passion between Anna and Valentin in the coming episodes, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will wonder what changed Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) mind and made him decide to forgive Nina.
Michael will be uncomfortable throughout this conversation since he won’t want to trash Joss’ father, so we’ll see how much he actually admits about Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) blackmail.
At the Metro Court, Britt and Liesl will hash things out in a discussion that ultimately turns heartfelt. Britt will suggest a deal, so that might involve building on the progress in their own relationship and staying out of each other’s love lives!
At GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will argue that there’s nothing holding him back from confessing.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) won’t like the sound of that and will push Finn to keep their deadly Peter August (Wes Ramsey) secrets under wraps.
Although Finn will vow to keep Liz out of the story he tells the cops, he’ll feel like a confession is necessary.
Finn will even get Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) in on this, but Liz will fight hard to talk Finn out of blowing up his life.
Finally, Carly and Jason will mull over the idea of tying the knot. They just got the idea thanks to Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) speech about marriage being a performance to demonstrate a contract – two people becoming one.
Jason will admit marriage is the best option he’s heard so far and will think marrying Carly could prove they’re not divided when it comes to power.
Of course, this is a huge step that’ll require legal advice, so Jason and Carly will want to give it some serious thought as well as bring Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) in on the discussion eventually.
Jason will acknowledge that if they take this step, there’s no turning back. They’ll have to commit to the performance and let their enemies know striking at one will mean striking at both.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly and Jason’s marriage will move forward soon, so don’t miss all the GH drama! CDL will have other fantastic General Hospital spoilers, news and updates to read up on, so stop by frequently.
