General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, May 25 Recap – Maxie Drugged & Unconscious – Jason & Britt Kiss – Brando Pulls Gun on Cyrus

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 25, reveals that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) wound up drugged and unconscious while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) shared a kiss.

As for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), a jaw-dropping turn of events led to him holding Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) at gunpoint.

In Nixon Falls, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) insisted that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was in danger and wanted to dodge his interview with the state trooper to go check on her.

Officer Ralph Finchley was determined to question Sonny about the robbery unless he could provide proof of an alibi.

Once Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) got updates on Sonny’s accusations about Elijah Crowe’s (Dan White) shady activities, he decided to take Sonny’s side – just in case there was a chance he was right and Nina was in danger.

Lenny pretended to check the employee logs in the back, but he actually messed with a fire hydrant so that the state trooper would have to go deal with it.

After Lenny found out Nina was at a barbeque, he felt like it had to be the Founder’s Day picnic. Meanwhile, Nina tried to play it cool with Elijah, who was clearly suspicious of her.

Elijah hinted about Nina and “Mike” being a team as he made Nina increasingly uncomfortable.

After Elijah took Nina down to a secluded area near a pond, he examined her earrings and noticed they were the same from the other night. Nina mentioned that her brother gave them to her – her brother who was shot in a murder.

Nina used that to bring up the increased crime rate in town and asked Elijah why he thought it was happening.

However, Elijah wound up touching Nina’s arm in a rather unnerving way. She eventually decided to take off, but she bumped into Elijah and dropped her purse – spilling the printed documents she got from his office.

Elijah gripped Nina tightly looking enraged over his discovery!

In Canada, Britt was talking a mile a minute – and Jason was keen to let her vent. Britt went over all the horrible symptoms she would eventually have to endure before death by Huntington’s disease, but Jason argued that she could get hit by a bus tomorrow.

Jason felt it was important to enjoy life as best as she could since it could be decades before symptoms emerged.

Britt let Jason move in close and she guessed he was saying to treat every day like a gift. That led to a steamy kiss between them while Maxie nearly told Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) the truth about her plans for Baby Louise.

Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) phone call interrupted, so Maxie sent Spinelli on his way and proceeded to make all the preparations necessary before her babymoon spa getaway – which was a cover for the Beechers Corners plan.

After a tense meeting with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) where they went over their own scheme, “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown) arrived and insisted that Maxie had to use the wheelchair she brought.

Once Maxie was in the chair, “Chloe” sneakily jabbed her with a syringe. Drugged Maxie lost consciousness almost immediately as her head fell back.

At GH, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) ran into Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and confessed her pregnancy since Willow was going to hear eventually anyway. She pushed Willow not to tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so Willow jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Sasha realized what Willow must be thinking and promised Michael was not the father – though she wasn’t ready to reveal who the “baby daddy” was due to the complicated situation.

Still, Sasha promised he was a great guy and someone she had feelings for. Willow felt like after all the sacrifices Sasha had made, she deserved to be happy.

Back with Spinelli, he put his tech skills to good use and tried to track Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) phone.

That phone wound up being in the room, but Carly revealed that Gladys had a burner phone backup. Spinelli managed to track Gladys down through that one instead.

At the warehouse, Brando wondered what Cyrus wanted in exchange for Gladys’ release. Cyrus insisted that Gladys had to die – if not by Brando’s hands, then by someone more loyal. He suggested Brando shouldn’t pretend to care about his mom all that much.

If Brando refused to pump the fatal bullet in Gladys, Cyrus warned Sasha and her unborn child would die.

Brando seemingly felt he had no choice, so he picked up the gun and visibly struggled as he tried to fire a shot at Gladys. In the end, Brando pulled the gun on Cyrus and looked completely enraged!
