General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, November 30, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get an alarming call while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) threatens to fire Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also face a tough task now that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been presumed dead, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
At home, Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will come together for a heartbreaking conversation about Jason’s tragic fate. Carly will continue to fume over Britt dragging Jason toward danger on Cassadine Island, but she won’t be ready to give up on Jason’s survival.
Carly will argue that Jason could still be alive, so she may bring up the lack of body and insist there’s still hope. However, Sonny will get a distressing phone call – perhaps with more evidence to back up Jason’s horrible outcome.
Although Sonny might do a little more digging, he may also become further convinced Jason is gone for good and urge Carly to come to grips with it. In the meantime, Sam will fret over how she’s going to tell Danny Morgan (Zakary Risinger) that his father is dead again.
Sam may worry it’ll be even harder for Danny to accept now that Scout Cain’s (Ella Ramacieri) dad is miraculously back in Port Charles. Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) homecoming could complicate the situation, but at least Sam will have Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to lean on when things get too difficult.
Dante will grin over something Sam says to him on Tuesday’s episode, so he’ll be feeling special as they grow even closer. Over with Drew, he’ll get a warm embrace from Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) as she processes the news that he’s alive and well. Drew will explain how he made home and will praise Jason for helping with his rescue.
Sadly, Drew will also have to admit Jason didn’t survive the tunnel collapse. Monica will snap at Drew and warn him not to say anything “like that” ever again. She might hold onto hope that Jason beat impossible odds and lash out when Drew suggests otherwise.
There’s also a chance Drew could beat himself up for not being able to save Jason. Drew might contend that he should’ve died instead or subtly act like he matters less to Monica than Jason. That could also prompt a riled reaction from Monica as she reminds Drew of how important he is to her.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will discuss the battle for control of ELQ, which is still going strong thanks to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) latest move against Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Of course, Drew’s return means his ELQ shares will once again be in his control, so Ned will approve of this comeback for more than one reason! There should also be a Thanksgiving song followed by plenty of pizza now that Drew’s brought a special delivery.
At the hospital, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will be over the moon when Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) drops by to see her. Scott will welcome Liesl back and call her his schnitzel, so they’ll exchange heart eyes and most likely love declarations as well.
In Britt’s office, she’ll have more tears to spill over Jason’s demise and will continue to blame herself. Carly’s outburst certainly didn’t help, so Britt will be in a vulnerable place when Austin appears and perhaps asks what’s wrong.
Although Britt will open up to Austin, she’ll also dish out a playful warning. Britt won’t want Austin spreading the word about her weak side and will jokingly vow to fire him if he tells anyone what he witnessed.
Austin won’t consider Britt to be weak at all and make insist Jason knew the risks when he agreed to help her. Britt will ponder a bit of an Austin mystery on Tuesday and will surprise him by cracking the case. That should lead to Austin dropping his guard as well, so they’ll have a chance to show compassion for each other’s problems.
As other GH details emerge, we’ll pass along updates. General Hospital spoilers say Britt and Austin could go from colleagues to friends and perhaps even more, so keep watching! CDL’s the place to be for hot General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so drop by frequently.
