General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, October 12, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will interrupt Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) plots a vengeful move. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will also be jailed with no lawyer, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
At Spring Ridge, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will try to shift suspicion to another shady Cassadine.
After Shawn points the finger at Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) in the Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) shooting investigation, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may admit it’s possible he ordered the hit.
Of course, Alexis won’t want that to be true, so Shawn will offer to drop the investigation. He knows Alexis may not like what he finds if he digs into this any further.
However, Alexis may suggest that justice must be served – even if that means Nikolas has to pay the price for it.
Meanwhile, Spencer will get dragged away now that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) just had him arrested.
Ava will call out to Spencer about getting a lawyer, but he won’t be able to afford one now that he’s broke.
Spencer will get a public defender instead and will fume over Ava’s latest move in their bitter war.
Nikolas will come home and get updates on Spencer’s arrest, so he may be upset over Ava taking things to the extreme.
Part of Nikolas will still feel like Spencer needs to be taught a lesson, but another part of him will remember Alexis’ advice and worry about turning his back on his son.
Next, Nina will get a visit from Phyllis as they try to clear the air.
Phyllis is a very compassionate person who loves Nina dearly, so she’ll be willing to move forward with their friendship. She may wonder if there’s a way forward for Nina and Sonny as well.
However, Nina will argue that she has to forget about “Mike” and what they shared in Nixon Falls. She’ll think the best thing she can do is stay away from Sonny, but Phyllis may not be so sure they can leave that connection behind.
As for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), he’ll admit Sonny is an obstacle and will explain why.
Jax may feel like Sonny’s going to add to the conflict he’s facing with Carly, but more drama certainly isn’t what Sonny wants.
Sonny will actually call a truce with Jax, so they’ll both hope this works out well for Carly and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
GH fans will also see Sonny walk in on Phyllis and Nina’s conversation at Crimson, so that should bring some awkward moments later.
Next, let’s talk about Carly’s grudge and what she intends to do about it.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will wind up scrambling to stop Carly from making a huge mistake, but Carly will insist she wants Nina to lose something she loves.
Perhaps Carly will intend to stir up a scandal that could cost Nina her position at Crimson, but Jason may once again warn against giving Nina a chance to play the victim.
Jason might think the best revenge Carly can get is enjoying her happy reunion with Sonny, but Carly’s rage could be hard to contain in the coming episodes.
As for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), they’ll get an unexpected visitor. It sounds like Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) may derail Sasha and Brando’s plans, so stay tuned!
