General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 7, teases that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will manipulate Ava Jerome (Maura West) while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) gets a pre-wedding surprise and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) punishes Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Since the Labor Day Monday, September 6 episode will be an encore, here’s what to expect on Tuesday’s show.
For starters, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will put their heads together as they consider the Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) case.
Shawn and Jordan will hope for a clue that could put them on the right path. Of course, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) won’t want that at all since he ordered the hit that started this mess!
Next, Jordan will appreciate TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) heartfelt words. TJ will share a sweet scene with his mom and let her know how much she matters to him.
Since we know TJ will face an unpleasant shocker later in the week, this moment with Jordan could be the calm before the storm!
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will get good news and bad news when Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports back to her.
It looks like the contact Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) offered will come through as a good source of info. However, there’ll be some snag that Sam and Curtis have to get past if they want a new lead.
Thankfully, that new lead is indeed coming – and it’ll involve connecting some dots between Naomi Dreyfus’ (Gigi Bermingham) deadly fate and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) disappearance.
As for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he’ll face Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) when she discovers a disaster.
The Tan-O will apparently look like a train wreck, so Nina will grill Sonny in hopes of finding out what went down in there.
Back in Port Charles, recently arrested Jason will hope to score his freedom and make it to his wedding on time. Dante will refuse to make exceptions or do Jason any special favors – at least at first.
Nevertheless, Dante will ultimately tell Jason he’s sorry, so this could be about more than just upholding the law.
Part of Dante may be punishing Jason for the way he hurt Sam, so maybe he’ll apologize for being a bit harsh. Regardless, Jason will soon be a free man and won’t miss the big ceremony.
Carly certainly isn’t Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) favorite person, but they’ll have a pleasant heart-to-heart chat anyway. Monica may not exactly approve of this union, but she knows Jason is determined to do this.
Jason also believes he can be happy in this marriage, so that’s all Monica can really ask. She’ll accept that Carly’s about to become Jason’s wife and wish her well.
As for Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), they’ll be on the same page about untrustworthy Esme. That innocent act won’t fool Joss and Trina for a second!
Trina will mention Esme calling Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) by her real name, which was Lauren. That’ll bother Trina and leave her wondering what exactly Esme’s hiding, but she won’t be able to nail down much yet.
Even so, the fact that Trina’s picked up on the blunder is a good sign. Maybe Trina can launch a little investigation and eventually figure out Esme planted that hospital badge near Ava’s burning car.
At the gallery, Esme will startle Ava when she slinks in and acts like she’s looking for some artwork. She’ll suggest it’s romantic that Nikolas can’t stay away from Ava.
Esme will think it’d have to be something “uber extreme” to make sure Nik did – and after she’s gone, Ava will pull the trigger on some extreme delivery she’s been saving as a last resort.
Nikolas will be crushed over what he receives, so Esme should be pleased with herself for giving Ava the nudge she needed.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava’s move will be a shocking one, so stay tuned to see how it all plays out.
