General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, April 16, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have another deep discussion with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
When Elijah Crowe (Dan White) brought up the story Nina was doing to help generate tourism, he suggested it could be good for both Nixon False and “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Nina argued that it was a favor to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), but Elijah still felt like “Mike” could benefit if it led to someone discovering him.
Although Nina doesn’t intend to publish the story anytime soon, she’s indeed getting everyone’s hopes up and will probably have to deliver at some point.
Nina may begin thinking about how she’s really just delaying the inevitable. If Nina ever intends to publish that story at all, it’ll most definitely lead to Sonny’s exposure.
Nina has the ability to tell “Mike” who he really is right this second, so that’ll weigh on her in Friday’s episode.
During Nina’s next conversation with Sonny, she’ll ask him to consider what he’d do if he could get his old life back. However, the truth is Sonny can’t remember and doesn’t think he wants that life anymore.
Sonny gets the feeling that he was caught up in some shady things and enjoys his new life in Nixon Falls, so he may wonder why he’d trade the present for a past full of trouble.
Nina should feel a bit better knowing “Mike” is still content, but she’ll also have to live with the fact that she’s keeping Sonny’s wife and children in the dark. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) misses Sonny terribly, but she’ll keep doing the best she can without him.
That means making major decisions on her own while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is locked up.
Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), GH spoilers say she’ll get some unsettling updates from Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), who’ll acknowledge that he had a little chat with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
It’ll worry Laura when she realizes Nikolas met with Martin and made suspicious promises.
Nikolas pointed out he could speak to Laura and tried to undo some of the damage Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) did to Martin’s relationship with his sister. It was all part of Nikolas’ game, so Laura should see right through his strategy.
Meanwhile, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura Wright) will be fearful as Nikolas plots his next move. Nikolas will soon have the address of the safe house Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) is tucked away in, so he’ll gloat about how getting chummy with Martin paid off.
Nikolas was able to subtly pump Martin for information and figure out which bakery near Florence specializes in making hummingbird cakes.
Although Ava won’t think surrendering to Cyrus’ demands is the way to go, Nikolas won’t think he has a choice if he wants to keep Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) out of peril.
Once Nikolas dashes off to complete his task, Ava might sound the alarm to Laura. Whatever the case, Laura will head to Carly’s place and fill her in on their urgent problem.
They both know Cyrus will run amok if he gets his mom back. There’ll be nothing to prevent Cyrus from doing all the horrible things he wants and unleashing total terror on Port Charles.
Carly won’t think sitting around talking is doing them any good, so she’ll make a trip to the safe house with Laura.
Nikolas will cross paths with Laura and Carly there, so there’ll be a feud over whether Nikolas is actually going to free Florence and return her to Cyrus back in Port Charles.
In the meantime, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will discuss the passion that just erupted in the garage. Things definitely took a steamy turn last night, so how will Sasha and Brando feel in the morning?
Sasha will want to tell Brando something about their hot encounter – and we doubt there’ll be any complaints! This was something they both wanted to happen, so Brando and Sasha should be on the same page about having a good time.
Maybe Sasha and Brando will agree to keep pursuing the spark between them now that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is out of the way.
As for Cyrus, he’ll corner someone and suggest there’s hope for them. Cyrus and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) have certainly had major issues with each other, but Cyrus may pretend there’s a way forward.
Of course, there are always strings attached with Cyrus! Whatever the case, Cyrus will provoke Curtis on Monday, which means Friday’s episode could be when they’ll first cross paths.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will get on another prisoner’s bad side behind bars. Alexis will rile up the wrong person and find herself gripped by the throat after she’s thrown toward a wall. It sounds like some Pentonville chaos is about to erupt!
This dangerous run-in will really make Alexis see the harsh reality she’s in for at Pentonville, but at least she’ll have a new friend in her corner. Alexis’ cellmate, Maggie (Sydney Walsh), will likely come to Alexis’ rescue and offer some useful advice.
Maggie will prove she’s a good listener as Alexis confides some of her struggles later, so Alexis will find comfort during a difficult time.
General Hospital spoilers say Alexis has some other challenges in store for her as she carries out her sentence, so don’t miss what’s ahead. CDL will have lots of other sizzling General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so drop by again soon.
