General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, April 30, teases that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will unleash all his anger over Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) death.
Someone will try to drag Cam away, but Jason will insist the teen should stay. He’ll think there are some things they need to talk about – namely the fact that Jason didn’t murder Franco in cold blood!
Cam will accuse Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to his face, so Jason will let the teen vent before making his own spiel. Jason may acknowledge that there may not be much he can do to change Cameron’s mind right now. However, Jason would never have killed Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) beloved stepdad.
Whether Cameron believes Jason or not, some new revelations will affect his view in the next few episodes. Look for Cam to deliver a heartfelt apology to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) during the week of May 3-7, but Joss will be busy trying to get to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) on Friday, April 30.
Josslyn talked Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) into taking a Nixon Falls road trip with her, but it seems the plan will fall through. Trina and Joss will be out of the car on Friday, so maybe it’ll break down or they’ll get lost along the way.
Trina won’t think this trip’s going to pan out and may think Jax will have to find another ride home.
Josslyn may feel like everything’s going wrong since she just suffered a season-ending ankle injury, too. She’ll be stressed to the max, but Trina will be supportive as usual and will have a little heart-to-heart with Joss that helps.
As for Jax, he’ll react to a proposal someone makes on Friday’s General Hospital episode. Jax won’t be on board with an offer someone presents, so this could be a peace offering from Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) since she’s been a bit harsh with him.
Phyllis might offer to let Jax stay for dinner or something along those lines, but he’ll be eager to get home. Of course, Jax might also be offered a ride – which he’ll apparently need since it doesn’t look like Josslyn and Trina will make it.
Jax will get home one way or another, but Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will stick around Nixon Falls so she can keep bonding with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Sonny will still seem a bit perturbed over the competition, but Nina will insist her ex is only a friend now – and she won’t be rejoining the old world she previously lived in anytime soon.
Sonny and Nina will share some close moments before Nina does something shocking. Will Nina kiss “Mike” aka Sonny? They were on the verge of it at the firehouse dance before they were interrupted, so a Sonny and Nina smooch seems poised to happen before long.
There’s a magnetic pull happening between Nina and Sonny, but Elijah Crowe (Dan White) will remain a problem.
Back in Port Charles, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be willing to help Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) keep Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) safe. If Ava can’t protect Avery from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Carly may argue that they have more than enough guards on the Corinthos property.
However, Ava will insist Carly’s got the wrong idea here. She warned that Avery was in trouble, but she won’t be in Carly’s home to beg for assistance. This visit is about Ava offering her own assistance instead.
Ava will want to help Carly and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) with Cyrus’ takedown, so we’ll see if Carly can put her disdain for Ava on hold. It’d be a good idea to have another surprising ally in the fight against Cyrus.
Fortunately, the deal Cyrus made with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is benefiting Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for the time being. Alexis now has a much easier job in the library, which certainly beats scrubbing those nasty prison floors.
Nevertheless, Maggie (Sydney Walsh) will worry about Alexis and all her special favors. Although Maggie will see the potential for danger, Alexis should be safe as long as Nikolas doesn’t rock the boat with Cyrus.
General Hospital spoilers say this library job will also bring a discovery, so maybe this will involve some legal loophole for Maggie or even Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore). Alexis will keep putting her legal expertise to good use behind bars, so that’ll give her something to do in the weeks ahead.
Next, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have some updates regarding Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) position at GH. Could Liz find herself unemployed after this conversation?
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) could use a nurse, so it might free Elizabeth up for that storyline if she’s cut loose at General Hospital.
Regardless, Britt will have some crucial news to pass along – and it may not be what Liz wants to hear. General Hospital spoilers say some exciting developments are still to come, so don’t miss the gripping drama ahead.
