General Hospital Spoilers Update: Friday, February 26 – Nathan Haunts Maxie – Chase’s DNA Results – Curtis’ Wedding Date

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, February 26, teases that Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) will find herself on Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) bad side. GH viewers know Jackie and Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) mission in Vermont paid off.

Martin was able to sit and chat with Florence Grey (Annie Abbott), who honestly seems to be doing much better under Bobbie Spencer’s (Jaclyn Zeman) care.

Florence is safe and in good spirits, so the move from her old facility was probably for the best. However, Cyrus craves his mother’s approval and can’t make any progress toward getting it while she’s held hostage.

Despite Florence’s rejection, Cyrus loves his mom and will remain desperate to get her back.

Jackie might point out that Florence has no interest in seeing Cyrus, which is the kind of comment that could rile him up even more. Cyrus won’t want Jackie holding out on him, so he’ll push her to come clean about Florence’s location.

Jackie won’t be willing to tell Cyrus that info – and even if she were willing, Florence might not even be in the same place anymore. If Jackie and Martin could find Florence, Cyrus could probably find that safehouse, too.

It might be best to safely move Florence again under the circumstances, so Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may order that.

Whatever the case, Cyrus will explode at Jackie and perhaps warn that she’ll pay for this. Jackie will also have to worry about old secrets coming back to bite her in Friday’s episode.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) decided to find out whether Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is truly his brother or if he’s actually Finn’s son. That’s why Finn swiped Chase’s sample from the gym for a DNA test.

Although Finn already put the samples through to the lab, Jackie will think there’s still time for Finn to stop this nonsense. Jackie doesn’t see what good it’d do for Finn to know the truth, especially since he might have a hard time keeping it under wraps.

It’s clear that Jackie would rather leave things as is, so she’ll plead with Finn on Friday and hope he’ll see things her way.

However, Finn may not be willing to budge since curiosity and guilt are eating away at him. Finn just needs to know if that night before Jackie’s wedding to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) resulted in their child.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will know what they have to do.

Anna will be apologetic about letting herself believe what she wanted to believe, but Valentin will understand why Anna wanted to see the good in Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Valentin was right in that same boat with Anna, but now they have to make this right.

Anna won’t want harm to come to anyone else, so she’ll resolve to stop Peter’s destruction with Valentin’s help. Back with Finn, he’ll get a visit from Chase before it’s time to tie the knot. Chase will be all hyped up for the nuptials and will wonder on how Finn’s feeling ahead of the ceremony.

Finn will have to put his paternity concerns aside and try to plaster on a smile for his big day. Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will stun Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) by declaring her uninvited. Assuming Maxie means Nina is no longer invited to the wedding, we have to consider the reason why.

General Hospital’s preview video for Friday doesn’t show any sign of hostility between Nina and Maxie, so this doesn’t seem to be a move made in anger. It might have something to do with how overwhelmed Nina’s feeling these days.

Nina’s still mourning the loss of Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), so she won’t exactly be a party girl on Friday.

That’s especially true since Nina will still be furious with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and worried about their grandma battle. The last thing Nina wants is for Carly to interfere in her relationship with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

Nina and Maxie will also share some somber moments as they reflect on bittersweet Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) memories. Maxie will inevitably think back to when she married Nathan and be somewhat haunted on this new wedding day.

Nina will also be emotional over Nathan’s death and the loss he’s left in his loved ones’ hearts.

Since there’ll be a lot of heavy topics on Nina’s mind, Maxie may uninvite Nina to spare the trouble of coming. Perhaps Nina will promise to take lots of pics and tell Nina all about it later.

Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), there’ll be a Britt bride block going on! Britt will refuse to let somebody pass through a door to see Maxie on the other side.

If Peter wants to speak with Maxie, Britt may insist it’s not happening. She might argue that it’d break tradition and set “Paxie’ up for misfortune in their marriage.

In reality, Britt might also be wary of letting Peter too close for safety reasons. She may hope Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) can take Peter down before Maxie makes things official.

There’s also a chance Liesl herself will be denied entry if she’s the one who approaches Britt. It might be a case of trying to be smart about how Liesl gets her newly discovered message to Maxie.

Look for Obrecht to move forward with a plan and try to offer updates on Peter’s true mother, Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes), once next week, March 1-5, rolls around.

Until then, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will be dressed up and prepared for the double nuptials as well. Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will cross paths with Curtis and ask him something before worrying she’s not allowed to ask any longer.

That might be as something as simple as how Curtis is feeling, but it’s also possible Jordan will wonder if he’s got a wedding date.

When Laura Collins (Genie Francis) finds Lesley Webber (Denise Richards) at the hospital, they’ll discuss how Cyrus is a terrible fit as GH’s chairman of the board. Lesley won’t think Cyrus belongs in Port Charles either for that matter, but she’d settle for getting rid of him at the hospital.

Lesley will hope to make it happen with Laura and Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) assistance.

At home, General Hospital spoilers say Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will have a tough heart-to-heart with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). It seems Franco will bring up how he got aggressive with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) after waking up from a nightmare.

Liz may brush it off as nothing just like Cam did, but Franco may fear this is just the beginning of his dark side reemerging.

Regardless, Franco won’t want to take any chances and will push for some distance. It’ll dawn on Elizabeth that Franco might mean moving out of the house. You can bet Liz will protest, but will Franco listen?

Franco would never forgive himself if he did anything to hurt Elizabeth, Cameron, Jake Webber (Hudson West) or Aiden Webber (Jason David). That could convince Franco that some changes need to be made ASAP.

We’ll keep you posted as other GH news becomes available. General Hospital spoilers say Franco’s crisis is only going to get worse, so stay tuned. CDL’s your hotspot for the latest General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so stop by again soon.
