General Hospital Spoilers Update: Friday, February 5 – Peter & Britt’s Cemetery Showdown – Nina & Carly War – Jason’s Risky Plan

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, February 5, reveals that a calmer Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will speak with Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy).

Now that Sonny’s taking lithium again, his mood will be regulated and he’ll be in a better frame of mind. Phyllis and Lenny will encourage Sonny to stay, so he’ll agree – but only if they’re on board with his conditions.

Sonny won’t be working around the clock like when he had his manic episode, but he’ll still want to earn his keep. There’ll be some other demands from “Mike” that Phyllis and Lenny should deem reasonable, so they should all reach an agreement.

Of course, Phyllis might think it’s time to dig a bit deeper into who Sonny is and how they can get him home. The problem is they don’t have a lot to go on other than Sonny’s watch and wedding ring.

Sonny will reflect on his situation and wonder what kind of life he used to live. Part of Sonny will appreciate the fresh start he has now, so he won’t be in any big hurry to get home.

Since Sonny can’t remember his loved ones, he doesn’t know what he’s missing! While Sonny mulls over his situation, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will fret over Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) scheme.

Carly won’t seem convinced Jason’s got everything under control, but Jason will think Carly needs to accept that he knows what he’s doing.

If Jason’s plan involves a risky way to handle Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), there could be more trouble. Speaking of trouble, Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) will sense some.

Jackie will do whatever she can talk Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) out of his paternity test idea, but Finn’s got Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) sample and intends to use it.

Jackie wasn’t able to talk Finn out of this plan before, so it doesn’t look like she’ll succeed now either. Finn can’t live with the uncertainty when it comes Chase and whether he’s Finn’s brother or son.

GH spoilers hint that the paternity test will move forward, but there could be major drama if the results land in the wrong hands down the road.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will answer the door at the Corinthos house and find Chase standing outside. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will walk over as Michael asks if this visit is an official one.

Michael will be on edge over Chase’s arrival – and it should involve more than just concerns about the cops.

Chase will probably have some updates related to his job at the PCPD, but he’ll also want to make an admission to Willow. After Chase gushes over missing Willow and their life together, it could inch Willow back in his direction.

Even so, the ink on Willow and Michael’s annulment papers is barely dry. Michael became quite important to Willow during their short-lived marriage, so she’ll inevitably struggle to let him go. We may see Michael be a tad territorial as well, though he’ll know he needs to move on.

As for Peter August (Wes Ramsey), he’ll land at the cemetery and rile Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) once they cross paths. Peter is on Britt’s bad side now, so she won’t see why he should be visiting their brother’s grave.

There’ll be some conflict over Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), Maxie Jones (Kristen Jones) and all the Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) drama.

Britt will put Peter on full blast, which he obviously won’t appreciate. This could lead to more threats – and Jason won’t be around to defend Britt this time. Peter could get pretty nasty in response to Britt’s outburst, so we’ll see how he deals with her on Friday.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will debate Peter’s deception. Valentin will think it’s obvious Peter hasn’t been honest about knowing Drew Cain (Billy Miller) when he was a soldier.

Anna may think there’s another explanation – or at least want to believe there’s one. Valentin may think back on Peter’s complaints regarding Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) blabbing to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

GH fans know Nelle was married to Shiloh Archer (Coby McLaughlin), who spilled plenty of secrets and knew Drew back when he was in the military.

Although Valentin doesn’t have the full picture on all that, he’ll hope to pry it out of Peter soon. Anna may think Valentin’s not telling her everything he knows – and she might feel the same way the next time she confronts Peter.

This has become a big mess for Anna, who just wants to connect all the dots. Unfortunately, there’s only going to be more pain and disappointment in Anna’s future.

At Crimson, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will fret over what Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) might be plotting. Nina will probably repeat what she said in the cemetery and insist she intends to be part of her grandson’s life.

Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) may argue that nobody wants to keep Nina from Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), but Nina may snap that Carly and Jax already did! By not telling Nina that Nelle was her biological daughter, they were keeping her from Wiley, too.

Now that Nina knows about her connection to Wiley, she’ll intend to get to know him – and she won’t let Carly or anyone else stop her. General Hospital spoilers say Nina will come on a little strong and scare Jax, who’ll try to defend Carly on Friday.

Jax may contend that Carly only wanted what was best for Wiley in the custody battle, but Nina may think Carly only wanted was best for Michael – and for Carly herself!

GH writers are laying the groundwork for major custody drama, so we’ll see how long it takes them to pull the trigger.

As other GH news comes in, we’ll provide the latest info. General Hospital spoilers say Nina’s fierce determination will bring some shouting matches and shockers in the weeks ahead. CDL’s where you want to be for thrilling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so drop by regularly.
