General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, April 12, teases that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will examine Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) at GH and drop some truth bombs on him. When Portia hears how awkward things got at Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) place, she won’t be surprised.
Portia will argue that Taggert is living at what was up until recently Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) home – with the woman who was up until recently Curtis’ wife. Taggert will counter that Jordan and Curtis are still married, but Portia will think he knows what she means.
Portia will think Curtis’ reaction to the situation was understandable, especially since Curtis and Jordan split up because of lies about Taggert. When Taggert asks if that makes it his fault, Portia will insist it makes it messy.
Taggert won’t want to get in the way of Curtis and Jordan patching things up, but he’ll wonder if Portia would feel the same. Portia will claim she has no idea what he’s talking about, so Taggert will admit he knows Portia cheated on him – and he’ll be pretty sure it was with Curtis.
Portia will have to tackle this buried secret head-on and try to explain herself, but Taggert probably won’t hold it against her after all these years. He may acknowledge that he did what Jordan did to Curtis and shut Portia out.
However, Portia should be apologetic – and they can both agree that moving forward as some form of a family is what’s best for Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). Taggert and Portia may establish that they’re still friends despite any issues in the past.
As for Curtis and Jordan, they’ll rehash their own drama – including the part where Curtis bailed after spotting Taggert at the loft. Jordan won’t think it was necessary for Curtis to rush off, but Curtis will feel like he made the right call.
General Hospital spoilers state that Curtis and Jordan will settle on a difficult decision regarding their future. It appears Jordan and Curtis marriage will officially come to an end, so they’ll likely make plans for the next divorce steps and try to find a way to say goodbye.
Over with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), they’ll have another secret strategy meeting. Maxie will like the sound of how things are coming along on their plot to fake her baby’s death.
It’s the only way to ensure Baby Lou’s safety, so Britt and Maxie will remain committed to doing whatever they have to do.
Britt looked like she was starting to catch on when she last interacted with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who doesn’t have a bun in the oven at all. If Britt conveys her suspicions to Maxie, they might agree Brook Lynn could pretend she gave birth and hide this little one.
Of course, it’s also possible GH writers will wait a bit longer for that part of the plot. No matter what Maxie and Britt settle on in Monday’s episode, they’ll view it as good news.
Britt and Maxie will even give a little fist-bump as they look forward to getting the upper hand on Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Peter’s already in a tight spot since he talked into Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) trap. Now Peter’s held at gunpoint and will have no choice but to do what he’s told.
Peter won’t think Valentin’s really going to do anything to him, but Anna will insist she’ll be taking the lead here – and she may warn Peter she’s indeed capable of harm.
Anna will do whatever she has to do if it means keeping her loved ones safe. That’s what Peter will be counting on when he reveals his latest dark stunt.
Peter worked out a deal with the waiter who poisoned Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) coffee cup, so he’ll let Anna know someone she loves could die.
It seems likely Peter has the antidote and will only agree to hand it over if Anna lets him walk free. Nevertheless, GH viewers know Peter’s plan went awry thanks to the lazy Susan shocker and all the spinning mugs.
Who got the tainted cup? It wasn’t Finn since he’s featured in some upcoming spoilers that show no sign of danger. Jackie doesn’t seem all that likely either, so that leaves Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
We know that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will feel powerless to help in the week ahead, April 12-16.
That could mean Willow feels helpless because Chase is deathly ill – or it could be because Chase is so distraught over dying Gregory. Either way, Willow may have to reevaluate her feelings soon.
On Monday, Willow will let Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) know she’d like to hang onto what they’ve found together. Michael and Willow have a connection that’s worth pursuing, so Willow may admit her attempt to reunite with Chase isn’t working out.
Willow may think it’s a lot like Michael’s situation with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson), which ended with them not being able to recapture what they lost.
Naturally, Willow may rethink breaking up with Chase if he winds up fighting for his life in the hospital or watching his dad fight instead. Either way, Willow’s going to have a hard time figuring out how to handle what comes next.
That tainted coffee’s going to bring a medical crisis for someone who was at that family dinner, so don’t miss the chaos ahead.
Will Anna and Valentin let Peter go to save the poison victim’s life? Will Peter indeed have an antidote that’ll save the day before it’s too late?
General Hospital spoilers say this is Peter’s ace in the hole, so it should get him out of the basement he’ll be stashed in. We’ll provide updates as other details come in.
GH fans will see some shockers as Peter keeps trying to avoid prison, so stay tuned. CDL will have other great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so drop by regularly.
