General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, February 1, teases that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will meet up with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) at the hospital to ask about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Laura will admit Dante’s going to be all right, so Nikolas will be glad to hear it – especially for Rocco Falconeri’s (O’Neill Monahan) sake.
Nikolas will reflect on Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) coma and now Dante’s life-threatening crisis. He’ll worry about Rocco before Laura mentions something troubling she heard from Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).
Laura will note that Kevin’s been talking to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who doesn’t believe Dante’s PTSD was properly treated.
Those updates will concern Nikolas, who’ll wonder if maybe Rocco should stay with Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) long-term. Laura won’t think that’s necessary since Dante has always been loving with his son, but she’ll appreciate how kind and attentive Nikolas is being.
Laura will smile over Nikolas getting his life back on track, so he’ll admit most of the credit goes to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). In fact, things are going so well that Nikolas asked his wife to marry him – for real this time.
Nikolas will seek guidance from Laura on Monday, so he may wonder if she has any marriage tips since things are going well for Laura and Kevin.
Laura might suggest that Nikolas seems to be doing fine on his own, but she’ll want him to make sure he trusts Ava. There’s nothing more important that trust in a relationship, but that’s something Nikolas and Ava indeed have – at least at this point in the story!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Ava will find Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) to see if Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) article was the real story. The tumor comeback portion was correct, but the rest was exaggerated and meant to rile up the public.
There’s no reason to think Franco will revert to dark tendencies yet, but Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will pump a bullet in him if signs emerge.
Ava should reel over that news if Franco offers it. If Franco decides to come clean about Peter’s voice being in his head, that’s something that’ll shock Ava as well.
Franco and Ava should have a lot to talk about, but Franco will also make time for Cameron Webber (William Lipton) on Monday’s GH episode.
It appears Franco will push Cam to get in touch with Stanford and let them know he’s all in on attending. Cameron will get frustrated since he doesn’t want to leave Franco, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and his brothers behind.
It might feel like he’s abandoning his family from Cameron’s perspective.
Whatever the case, Cam will apparently snap at Franco and most likely apology afterward. Of course, Franco will probably just be glad that Cam is showing his emotions.
Franco doesn’t want anyone holding back or trying to protect his feelings. It’s important to tackle this “Friz” family drama with honesty and stand together.
Back at GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will pop in Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) office. Finn and Anna will discuss Dante’s ordeal and Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) part in it briefly.
Anna will reveal that she hasn’t been able to visit Dante yet, but Finn will suggest he’s sure it can wait. Nevertheless, Anna will insist it can’t – and that’s why she’ll need Finn’s help.
Anna will talk to Finn about Dr. Warren Kirk (Jamison Jones) being linked to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). She may want to follow up on that and expect Finn can pitch in on the research.
Finn will indeed pump Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for information on that in Monday’s episode. Britt may face questions about her mother – perhaps even while trying to hide her!
General Hospital spoilers say Britt will lash out at Liesl and demand to know who else knows she’s in town. Britt can definitely tell that things are dangerous now due to her confrontation with Peter. She’ll side with Liesl on that now and see why Liesl wanted to remain hidden.
The problem is Liesl will apparently be taking too many risks and could get caught.
While Liesl gets an earful from Britt, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will offer the same to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). He’ll talk about knowing what the outcome would be, so he may mean if they ran a DNA test.
Valentin might argue that there’s probably something of Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) still hanging around that could be used for a sample.
Then again, Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) was Nelle’s son and that’d make him Nina’s grandson – at least if the DNA’s a match and it sounds like Valentin will be confident on that.
Valentin will likely hurl insults and accusations over Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) keeping yet another secret with Carly. Valentin may wonder if this is what they do – go around stealing people’s moms and hiding their daughters!
Carly will get riled, but Valentin will fire back and make it clear that he’s firmly in Nina’s corner.
As for Jax, he’ll stun Nina with the truth about the necklace and how long he’s known. It’ll hurt Nina when she realizes Jax might’ve never told her if it hadn’t been for this necklace blunder.
Nina will let herself grieve the loss of Nelle and deal with her guilt over not being a mom to her. It wasn’t Nina’s fault, but she’ll still wish she could’ve somehow found her sooner or even been there from the start.
Nina might remember how Nelle insisted she needed someone to believe in her. Nelle begged Nina to support her since Nina was her last hope. It’ll all seem dreadfully sad to Nina once she accepts that Nelle was her biological child.
Nina turned her back on Nelle at the custody hearing and set events in motion that resulted in Nelle’s grim fate.
Of course, Carly won’t think Nina should act like Nelle was some innocent flower who just needed a mother’s nurturing. Carly may argue that Nelle was deeply disturbed and not someone who was ever willing or even able to accept love.
After all, Carly tried to show Nelle kindness once upon a time, but Nelle targeted her family in response.
Even so, Nina may think Nelle just didn’t have the tools she needed to be a good person. Nelle had terrible Frank Benson for a father and only new how to look out for number one. It was the only way Nelle knew how to survive – at least until she took that cliff tumble!
Jax probably won’t be keen on sharing that part of the story since it makes Carly look incredibly suspicious. It’d bring Nelle murder accusations if Jax revealed how Nelle’s hand slipped through Carly’s grasp. As Jax pointed out that night, it might look like Carly gave Nelle a push and helped her to her death.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Jax and Carly will hold back on that info, so the cliff cover-up will still have to come out in the weeks ahead. CDL will have tons of other scorching General Hospital spoilers, updates and news posts, so make us your top source for GH details.
