General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, July 12, tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will apologize to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) faces a tough Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) choice. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also visit an injured Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), so here’s the scoop on Monday’s shocking show.
For starters, Sam will be battling a hangover and plenty of embarrassment after such a crazy Independence Day.
When Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) questions Sam about how she’s holding up, Sam will just want to put that night behind her – including that drunk and impulsive kiss.
Of course, Dante was sober and definitely feeling the heat in that moment.
Sam was as well despite being inebriated, but these two may keep dancing around their feelings for a while. There’ll be a more pressing matter for Sam to deal with anyway.
Alexis will need to get her wrist checked out after the drama that went down at Pentonville.
Sam will show up while Alexis is in the exam room and express concern for her well-being. However, Alexis will be doing better now that she’s out of solitary and in protective custody.
Although Alexis may fear negative news about her injury, it looks like she’ll get a positive report instead. Austin (Roger Howarth) might be the one who examines Alexis since it’ll be his first day at work.
Austin will be tickled pink to be working at GH and will share his joy with a suspicious Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Carly will raise an eyebrow over Austin’s interest in the Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) wing of the hospital, so there’ll be some questions exchanged on both sides.
This is all building to the ELQ meeting that Austin’s going to crash, so look for him to cause some chaos when he reveals his true identity later in the week.
In the meantime, Carly will defend herself when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) rips into her over Britt. Jason will push Carly to stop pushing Britt’s buttons and just leave her be.
It’s completely unnecessary to keep harassing Britt and trying to sell “Jarly” as some epic enduring love story.
However, Carly will seem concerned that Jason doesn’t have the same mindset on this marriage.
Carly will be all in on tying the knot and building a life together, but she may sense that this sacrifice is harder for Jason.
While Jason and Carly hash things out, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will remain standoffish with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Despite Curtis’ attempt to apologize for Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watros) behavior, Portia will keep Curtis at a distance.
Since Curtis is really into Portia, he won’t give up quite so easily. Look for Curtis to track Portia down later in the week and work toward more progress.
Until then, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will hope to score his freedom and nail the real culprit in the Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) shooting case.
Shawn will relay that desire to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), so they’ll have his back on this – as long as he doesn’t make more trouble for himself in the process.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) had better stay on guard since Shawn could be coming for him eventually!
At the Quartermaine mansion, Maxie will be upset over Austin sticking around Port Charles. She’ll also be terrified that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is going to figure out the truth about Louise aka “Bailey Quartermaine.”
On top of all that, Maxie won’t know how much longer she can stand being apart from her daughter.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) arranged for Maxie to see Louise at daycare on workdays, but it just won’t be enough.
Since Maxie will be so bent out of shape, Brook Lynn will wonder if she just wants to come clean. She’ll give Maxie the choice of whether she wants to keep up the charade or just tell the truth and take Louise home.
Maxie will ultimately calm down and keep the ruse going, but it’ll remain one of the most agonizing experiences of her life.
Other GH spoilers say Liesl will deliver a sincere apology. It looks like Britt will be on the receiving end of it since Liesl will feel like she screwed up big time.
Obrecht got caught up in the idea of Britt and Jason living happily ever after, so she’ll be sorry if she built Britt’s hopes up too high.
It isn’t Liesl’s fault that Jason dumped Britt for Carly, so Britt should let her mom know there’s no need to be sorry.
Obrecht and Britt will have a deep conversation as they continue to strengthen their bond, so that should bring some great scenes.
General Hospital spoilers say there’s still hope for Britt and Jason’s future, but there’ll be a mountain of problems to get past first. CDL will have all the scorching General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you need, so stop by frequently.
