General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, July 5, teases that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will share a toast to being single while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) feels like she’s losing it in solitary confinement. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will also have a major meltdown, so let’s discuss what’s in store on Monday’s shocking show.
At Charlie’s Pub, Britt will admit to Jax that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) helped her through a difficult time. Britt will acknowledge that she thought their romance was going somewhere until Jason asked Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to marry him.
Jax won’t think Jason is really going to create that much of a void for Britt. He won’t think Britt should take this personally either since Jason and Carly have always been so loyal to each other.
Britt will guess she’s better off being single, so Jax will toast to that as they share an intriguing moment.
It turns out Britt and Jax will decide to follow up on this conversation by watching the fireworks together, so we’ll see where else the night might take them.
Meanwhile, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will wonder if his latest kiss with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) lined up with what she wrote in her journal.
Joss may reiterate that she never wrote Cameron was a bad kisser and in fact wrote quite the opposite. She thinks Cam’s actually quite good at locking lips.
Now that the confusion Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) created has been cleared up, Cam and Joss can focus on moving forward – first as friends and then perhaps as more.
In solitary confinement, Alexis will feel like she’s losing it, but maybe a conversation with herself can help her determine what she needs to do to stop self-sabotaging.
Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will get some upsetting updates from Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), so they should hear about Alexis’ latest punishment.
Shawn also lost his library privileges, so it seems like Judge Carson (Anita Finley) and her powerful posse are already working against Shawn and Alexis.
TJ and Molly will be targeted as well in the coming episodes, so be prepared for more drama.
Speaking of drama, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will soon have a hunch who turned Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) off to the idea of pursuing anything with him.
With a little assistance from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Curtis will figure out it must be Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) who’s interfering in his love life – and he’ll intend to put a stop to it.
As for Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), she’ll try to recover emotionally after all the fake blood spillage.
Trina will offer an explanation for her red-stained appearance since she inadvertently got caught in a trap, but the stalker should get away in the confusion.
Of course, that stalker is Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chaves) and he won’t be able to escape detection forever! For now, furious Ava will think enough is enough.
Ava will demand Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) stop fighting her on this and divorce her for the sake of the people they love.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will also head over to Ava’s gallery to hear exactly what happened there and see if he can gather any new stalker clues. As other GH news comes in, we’ll keep you posted.
