General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, March 1, teases that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will stop by to see Peter August (Wes Ramsey) ahead of the double wedding. Dante will talk about how important Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) happiness is to Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).
Since Lulu’s currently in a coma, Dante will suggest he’s there to speak in her place. Dante will offer Peter a “friendly warning” regarding the impending nuptials. He’ll suggest that if Peter does anything to make Maxie regret this day, then Peter will have to answer to Dante!
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will wrestle with what she has to do. Anna is done letting herself get taken for a ride when it comes to Peter, but part of her obviously still cares about him.
Even so, Peter’s takedown needs to happen – and that means Anna will have to carry out a plot with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
“It’s not too late,” Valentin says gently in Monday’s preview clip. It’s possible Valentin will visit Peter and push him to turn himself into the authorities. Valentin might even try to get a secretly recorded confession during a trip to Peter’s suite.
On the other hand, it’s possible Valentin will be telling Anna that it’s not too late for her to back out and let him handle this. Valentin cares about Anna and won’t want to see her get hurt any more than she already has.
Whatever the case, it looks like both Valentin and Anna will remain in on their plot, but they’ll make some major mistakes that result in more of Peter’s destruction.
As for Maxie, she’ll remain in denial as she argues with somebody in the cemetery. Maxie had a strong reaction to the person who just showed up – and it seems it’ll be Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) who ends up facing off with her.
Liesl will have some big news to pass along, so she may want to fill Maxie in on Peter’s bio mom. Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) is the one who actually gave birth to Peter, not Anna.
Maxie may think it means nothing. So what if Peter has two evil parents instead of just one? Maxie could contend that Peter isn’t like Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) anymore, so why should he be like Alex either?
Liesl will think Peter’s more like Faison and Alex than Maxie wants to admit. It looks like Obrecht will work to convince Maxie of Peter’s guilt – including the fact that Peter framed her for his own crimes.
Sadly, Maxie will continue to defend Peter in Monday’s GH episode. She’ll think Liesl and all of Peter’s other enemies just don’t understand him the way she does. Of course, Maxie will remain missing while all of this is going down.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) couldn’t find Maxie on Friday, so Sam will spill the alarming news to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) on Monday.
Mac might fear Maxie’s in some kind of trouble, but Britt should be hopeful that Maxie changed her mind about marrying Peter.
As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), they’ll enjoy some brotherly bonding before the ceremony – but are they really brothers or father and son?
Finn won’t have a chance to find out before the nuptials since he opted not to pick up the results from the lab just yet. Still, the paternity question should be on Finn’s mind – and so will Finn’s betrayal with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) all those years ago.
Finn slept with Jackie the night before her wedding to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), which led to Finn shutting his dad out for decades and letting Gregory think it was his fault.
With all this in mind, it seems Finn just won’t feel very deserving of the bliss he’s found raising Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) or in his relationship with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Finn may argue he doesn’t deserve a great brother like Chase either, so Chase will kid around about Finn not deserving any of it. Naturally, Chase will just be having some fun with Finn before his big day. He’ll no doubt let Finn know he wishes him all the happiness in the world.
A thrilled Violet will be on hand to celebrate the double wedding, but there’ll be tension between Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Jordan might wonder if Curtis is sure about getting out of the PI business, purchasing a nightclub and officially separating. It might seem like Curtis is having a bit of a crisis and overreaction to Jordan’s secrets.
Nevertheless, Curtis will feel confident in his choices, so Jordan will just have to accept them. She’ll probably return to her previously supportive stance – at least when it comes to the career changes Curtis has in mind.
Over with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), he’ll turn on the charm with Jackie and talk about something she should consider a win. Robert might think Jackie’s story involving Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) is a victory – or this could be about Finn warming up to Jackie after all those years of distance.
General Hospital spoilers say Gregory will walk over and most likely interrupt Jackie’s conversation with Robert. The sight of them together could leave Gregory battling some jealousy, so it could prompt him to make a move to fight for his relationship.
Will Jackie and Gregory reunite? It’s a possibility to mull over since we know Gregory will realize something along with Jackie.
It doesn’t look like anything related to Chase’s paternity will come out yet, so that could mean Gregory and Jackie will realize they still want their marriage to work.
Unfortunately, Jackie and Gregory’s romance could fall apart all over again once the DNA results are read and land in the wrong hands.
Finally, we should add that Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) tumor will create some complex issues – ones that could leave Franco accused of a violent crime. Dante’s set to stumble upon one before long, but Peter might be the person who’s truly responsible.
