General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, March 29, teases that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will gloat about having something to celebrate like Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). Cyrus just waltzed over to Martin and Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) table and found this mini birthday party in progress.
Martin was blowing out the candle on the cake Laura offered him to make up for missing his b-day last week.
Cyrus was curious what Martin wished for, but he’ll mostly be eager to share his own wish that’s on the verge of coming true. Since Cyrus expects Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to come through on the deal that’s been offered, he’ll probably tell Martin and Laura that he’s going to have his mom back in no time at all.
Carly will explain everything that just went down during her conversation with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). This isn’t the ideal situation, but Carly may feel like handing over Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) may be Jason’s only ticket to freedom.
Jason will find out Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) offered the eyewitness account and will recant if Cyrus’ mother is returned to him.
However, it seems Jason will have some concerns about Cyrus not keeping his end of the bargain. Jason may point out that they could give Florence back and end up with nothing to show for it if Gladys doesn’t change her version of events after all.
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will open up her door to the person she summoned. Based on Anna’s phone and the fact that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will soon be interested in her plot, Robert seems like a good fit for who Anna will let inside.
Once Carly wraps up her own meeting with Jason, she’ll wind up at Anna’s place as well. Anna will have a pitch to make that could help make Peter August (Wes Ramsey) pay and get Jason off the hook for Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) murder, but it won’t be an easy task to pull off.
Over with Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), he’ll get ready for his sentencing court hearing while Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) speaks with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Jordan will discuss some changes to the Cyrus situation and how she truly believes Taggert should go for a not guilty plea.
Trina will agree and may point out that she tried to talk her dad into it as well. Perhaps Portia and Jordan will want Trina to take one more shot at it on Monday, March 29.
Trina will approach Taggert in the courtroom and express hope that he listened on the topic of changing his plea, so hopefully Taggert will indeed change it to not guilty and take his chances with the jury.
Next, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will have a reason to smile as he talks to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). It seems Cam may suggest some ways for Curtis to draw in more people at the nightclub.
Cameron surely knows all about the music scene in Port Charles, so he might have some acts he thinks Curtis should book or help him make plans for other live entertainment.
Curtis will tease Cameron about not working for him, but he might be willing to change that if Cam’s on board with a new job. Cameron might be able to make some extra money if he becomes a music coordinator or at least a music advisor of some sort.
Curtis might think Cam’s knowledge will come in handy as a consultant and hope this gives him an outlet to keep working through his grief.
As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll have his doubts when he gets a phone call. There’ll be some problem that Finn doesn’t think it’s a good idea for him to assist with.
Finn’s life has spiraled out of control lately, so he might object to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) seeking his help with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Nevertheless, Finn and Diane will indeed team up on Monday as they try to convince Alexis to stick with a not guilty plea. Alexis will remain focused on facing the music, so she’ll move forward with her plan to plead guilty instead.
General Hospital spoilers say Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will think it’s the right call, but Diane and Finn will worry this is a mistake – and so will Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
There’ll be more to come in Alexis’ storyline later in the week, March 2 to April 2, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will do her best to get rid of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) at GH. Peter will extend his condolences, but Liz will push Peter to leave – that is until he pipes up about wanting to take responsibility for Franco’s death.
That’ll stop Liz in her tracks as she presumably assumes Peter’s confessing to Franco’s murder. Of course, Peter will put the blame on Jason and argue that he just feels responsible for setting Franco’s death in motion with the fear-inducing article.
Even so, maybe Peter’s comments could leave Liz suspicious and make her start to believe things aren’t quite as they seem when it comes to Jason. We’ll provide updates as other GH news emerges.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will keep fighting for his freedom by any means necessary, so keep watching. CDL will have other great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so visit again soon.
