General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, April 8, teases that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will have to face her fears. On this final night of freedom, Alexis will have to find strength, courage and whatever else she’ll need to survive behind bars.
The closer Alexis gets to actually landing in the slammer, the more she’ll be filled with dread. At the same time, Alexis thought long and hard before she entered a guilty plea. Alexis knew what she was getting herself into – and she also knows it could be worse!
Three years isn’t all that bad of a sentence under the circumstances, especially since she could get out in two and a half due to early parole. Of course, that won’t do much to ease Alexis’ mind.
Alexis was once a respected lawyer in Port Charles, but now she’s a convicted criminal who’s facing a lengthy separation from the people she loves.
Although Alexis has already been trying to say goodbye to her daughters, she’ll have another farewell moment with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) on Thursday. Sam may apologize for snapping at Alexis recently and admit she just hates this situation.
She’d much rather have her mom on the outside with her family, but both Alexis and Sam will come together over what they can’t change.
General Hospital spoilers say Sam will give Alexis one last pep talk – and Alexis will get other versions from various Port Charles residents as well.
Alexis will end up at Kelly’s, where she’ll join Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). There’ll be clinking coffee cups as everyone shares a good luck toast.
Alexis will struggle to see the bright side, but Finn will do his best to help with that. He might remind Alexis that she’s owning up to her mistakes and working toward a better life once she emerges from prison.
Jax will have some kind words for Alexis along with Ned, who’ll think she’s brave and someone they can all look up to.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) has had plenty of problems with Alexis in recent months, but none of those may matter much now. General Hospital spoilers say Olivia will have something to get off her chest on Thursday, April 8.
Perhaps Olivia will acknowledge that it took guts to plead guilty and face the music.
Olivia will speak her mind and truly hope Alexis gets her act together in prison like she plans. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will also think Alexis is going to face her inner demons and learn some valuable lessons.
Prison is a place where you have to blend in with the crowd rather than stand out, but Valentin won’t want Alexis to lose sight of who she is personally. He’ll hint about Alexis staying true to herself, but Alexis won’t really be certain of who she is at all at this point.
Alexis will decide that to figure out who she’s become, she has to start at the beginning. She’ll go back to the days when she was just a little girl named Natasha, so Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will pitch in on this part. Alexis will have some memories she needs to unearth and work through.
There’ll be a particular memory that keeps running through Alexis’ mind, so she’ll settle on that one as crucial to understanding herself. Alexis will share a childhood story with Kevin and flash back to when she was young. This will serve as a Cassadine history lesson as Alexis prepares for the future.
GH fans will see Alexis on the staircase and watch her interact with a face or two from the past. We’re hearing there may be a heartfelt scene between little Alexis and her mom, but there could be another surprising face or two along the way.
General Hospital spoilers say Kevin will listen and weigh in on Alexis’ deep-seated issues. The doc will offer some great guidance that should help Alexis on her prison journey, but what Alexis really needs to learn may come from within!
