General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, July 8, teases that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will be set up for heartbreak while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) wins the Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) divorce battle. Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will also get busted, so here’s what viewers will see as Thursday’s show kicks off.
At Charlie’s Pub, Stella will meet up with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) for coffee and a conversation about Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) chances with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
Stella will hope for reunion news from TJ, but he may argue that doesn’t seem likely to happen.
Of course, Stella has been manipulating things behind the scenes and will feel confident this isn’t over yet. She’ll hope Curtis and Jordan can sort through their issues without officially ending their marriage.
As for Curtis, he’ll head to Jordan’s office and wonder if she’s the reason Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has been acting so weird.
Curtis has figured out somebody had a hand in making Portia back off, so he’ll suspect maybe Jordan’s dragging her feet on the divorce and pushing Portia out of the picture.
Jordan will assure Curtis that’s not the case, but she’ll know exactly who’s responsible. When Curtis discovers Stella has been pulling the strings here, he probably won’t be all that surprised!
This kind of meddling is right up Stella’s alley, but it’s inappropriate – and Curtis will be sure to tell his auntie so the next time he sees her.
Until then, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will feel like she’s losing her mind in solitary confinement. Alexis has already been talking to herself in her dreams, but someone else will appear on Thursday’s GH episode.
It seems it’ll be a dream version of Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), so maybe he’ll give Alexis a pep talk and a reminder about how important the pursuit of justice is.
Across town, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will take quite a risk by moving forward with some mentoring sessions. She’ll agree to let Judge Carson (Anita Finley) be her guide, but this lady is shady as they come!
Molly will be in a tight spot since helping Shawn could mean making life harder for Alexis and herself. After all, Judge Carson knows when Molly is scheduled to take the bar and could easily sabotage her.
Molly will pretend Judge Carson is an ally, but she’ll actually be scheming against her – and that could spell trouble for all parties involved.
Next, Ava will talk to Portia about Trina and how she’s coping after that fake blood nightmare. That trap shook Trina up, but Portia may think her daughter’s proving resilient as usual.
Even so, it’ll bother Portia that Nikolas had to go to such great lengths to catch a stalker. The plan failed, but Nikolas was just trying to figure out a way to be with the woman he loves.
Portia will wonder who’d be despicable enough to target Nikolas and Ava in this way, but Ava will just focus on protecting Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) no matter what.
Since Ava is standing her ground on the divorce, Nikolas will summon Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) for a discussion about one.
This step obviously won’t be what Nikolas wants at all, but there won’t be much he can do if Ava keeps insisting on it.
Nevertheless, Nikolas will hold out hope for a future once all this stalker drama is cleared up.
Nikolas and Ava don’t realize Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is the one targeting them – though he thinks he’s doing it for his father’s own good.
Trina still won’t realize Spencer is to blame either. She doesn’t even know this is Nikolas’ son since Spencer is going by the name “Victor” and dodging Trina’s friends since they could recognize him.
“Victor” will turn on the charm once again and try to make it up to Trina since he disappeared on her recently.
How long will it take the truth about Spencer to come out? Regardless, Spencer is setting Trina up for heartbreak since she’s already falling hard!
