General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, June 17, teases that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will warn Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) while Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) realizes he can save Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) life. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also get some amazing news, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
GH fans know Jason Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) are getting closer, but Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is ready to meddle as usual. After Jason stonewalls Carly for the most part, it’ll be Britt’s turn to go through an interrogation.
Carly will pump Britt for information on her new romance with Jason, but Britt may wonder why Carly’s so curious. She might make it clear to Carly that Jason is a big boy who can take care of himself, but Carly will claim she’s more worried about Britt.
Carly may suggest Jason’s job and disposition aren’t going to mesh well with Britt’s life, but things have been going well between them so far.
There’s no reason why sparks shouldn’t continue to fly between Britt and Jason – whether Carly approves or not!
Of course, Carly won’t be the only inquisitive character on Thursday’s episode. Look for Liesl to go into mama bear mode and grill Jason about his intentions with Britt. However, Obrecht actually seemed on board when she saw how Britt lit up over Jason.
This will just be Liesl’s way of watching over Britt since she’s in such a vulnerable state these days. If Jason intends to be a supportive presence and can make Britt happy, Liesl should be all for it.
Obrecht will just want to warn Jason not to hurt “Britta,” especially since she’s still hurting over her Huntington’s marker confirmation.
Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll make a declaration about “something much bigger” happening in Port Charles.
This may be part of Laura’s plea to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) since we know she’ll work to talk Jordan out of tendering her resignation.
Jordan’s still in some upcoming General Hospital spoilers that tie in with policework. It sounds like Jordan will either stick to her job in the end or will remain involved in the cases that still need wrapping up.
There doesn’t seem to be much else for Jordan to do career-wise in PC, so maybe sticking with the police commissioner role would be for the best.
On the roof, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will grow nervous over Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) desire to get in the lab. Anna will ask questions about the sub-basement, which contains a freezer with Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) body in it.
Since Anna isn’t having any luck opening the service elevator door, she’ll be desperate for another way down.
While Liz deals with Anna’s desire to snoop, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will have some important info for Gregory. Something clicked for Finn when Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) brought up the discovery of Chase’s paternity.
Finn obviously realized the cure might’ve failed due to inaccurate results, which means he needs to try again with a DNA sample from Gregory to go with Jackie Templeton’s (Kim Delaney).
Gregory should be elated to learn he may indeed be Chase’s father, especially since he could help Finn save Chase’s life.
While Finn works as fast as he can on a new cure for Chase, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will sense that Josslyn isn’t being honest. Trina won’t think Joss means what she’s saying – perhaps about PCU and their plans for the future.
Josslyn may remain in a funk since she’s not going to the college she wants – plus, things are still a bit weird with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Luckily, some exciting updates are coming up for Josslyn, so she might receive word that she’s been taken off the waitlist for Southern Coastal University. That’d be fantastic news for Joss, but it’d probably disappoint Trina since she’s been looking forward to attending college together.
If Josslyn’s first-choice school suddenly becomes an option again, she may struggle to decide the right path. General Hospital spoilers say the teen scene will face more shakeups soon, so don’t miss all the action.
