General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, May 27, teases that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will do damage control while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) fights to save Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).
Meanwhile, Baby Lou’s birth will begin, so here’s what fans can look forward to on Thursday’s action-packed episode.
GH fans know Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) managed to grab Spinelli, so now he’s got a captive who matters to Carly. Cyrus is apparently hoping to exchange Spinelli for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), but Carly may warn that he’ll have to wait until Gladys is out of surgery.
Of course, Cyrus won’t particularly care about seeing Gladys patched up since he’ll want to pump a fatal bullet in her anyway. Carly would much rather get Spinelli back AND keep Gladys alive so she can clear Jason’s name, but how’s she going to pull it off?
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will realize what’s going on and offer her assistance. Since Ava is an excellent schemer who’s invested in getting rid of Cyrus, her alliance with Carly could indeed come in handy.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) can pitch if need be, so at least there’ll be a team of people working to keep Spinelli safe.
Carly will seek the truth over the phone, so she may fear Cyrus already killed Spinelli and is just trying to manipulate the situation. However, Cyrus might hand the phone to Spinelli so he can say a few words as proof that he’s alive for now.
Spinelli will make it out of this terrible ordeal, but he’ll face some scary moments in the meantime.
In Canada, Jason will do some damage control since Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has misunderstood his latest comments. Britt is especially sensitive right now due to the horrible news she received at the doctor’s office, so Jason will have to keep that in mind.
Jason will want Britt to understand that she’s very useful to him and he truly enjoys having her around.
Jason just isn’t sure any of this is fair to Britt, who’s making some big sacrifices for his sake. He’ll want the opportunity to make things up to Britt, so she’ll listen to what he has to say and perhaps apologize for overreacting.
In the end, Jason and Britt should get their romance back on track – which is good since it’s really been heating up at that lighthouse!
Back in Port Charles, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) won’t be willing to play Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) games – not when it comes to his daughter.
Whether he’s referring to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), his unborn baby girl or both, Valentin will want Peter to understand that he’s a dead man if he messes with Valentin’s child.
Unfortunately, Valentin doesn’t really have a baby on the way. He’s been duped by Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who should grow concerned the longer she goes without a call from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Maxie will be busy trying to get away from Nurse “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown), but her plan will come with more hurdles. Even if Maxie manages to avoid another syringe drug dose and hits “Chloe” with that fireplace poker, she may not keep “Chloe” down for long.
That could actually be a good thing in the long run since Maxie doesn’t exactly have a ton of options to help deliver her baby right now. Maxie’s in denial about going into labor, but it’s indeed happening – and that means Baby Lou will be here awfully soon.
General Hospital spoilers say someone with a flashlight will approach Maxie, who’ll have an outburst as she tries to avoid the inevitable.
Maxie might get help from some helpful stranger that passes by, but it could also be “Chloe” who ends up helping after all. Either way, Maxie will give birth before long.
Finally, it looks like Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will move past the recent tire slashing drama. It turns out Sam and Dante are going to play a little softball, so that should bring some entertaining scenes.
Sam will insist there’s a first time for everything, so that might be her response if Dante mentions some undefeated record or something along those lines.
Whatever the case, there’ll be some flirty banter going on as GH writers keep pushing Dante and Sam toward a romantic outcome.
We’ll bring you updates as other news becomes available. General Hospital spoilers say some exciting developments are still to come for Sam, Dante and plenty of other PC residents. CDL will have all the terrific GH spoilers, news and updates you need, so make us your hotspot.
