General Hospital Spoilers Update: Tuesday, January 19 – Sam Confronts Liz Over Franco’s Tumor – Martin Destroys Tracy’s Story

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 19, teases that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will get in touch with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) to discuss the next steps for Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will overhear part of this phone conversation and immediately become concerned.

Sam will wonder if she heard Liz right, so Liz will admit that depends on what Sam heard! That’ll lead Sam to ask if this is about “THE tumor” – as in the one that could make Franco a dangerous man once again.

Elizabeth won’t think Franco’s medical information is any of Sam’s business, but Sam will insist it is indeed her business. In fact, Sam will think it’s everyone’s business if Franco might surrender to his darkest impulses.

Elizabeth will eventually admit that Franco’s tumor is back, but she won’t think there’s any cause for concern. Sam might disagree after that weird outburst Franco had, which she’s sure to fill Liz in on.

Of course, Elizabeth may explain there’s another layer to all this. She might point out that Franco is hearing Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) voice in his head due to his old memory-mapping procedure.

Sam should be intrigued by that tidbit, but she’ll remain fearful about this tumor and whether it might turn Franco sinister again.

As for Elizabeth, she’ll be quite curious about why Franco sought out Jason. Liz will sense that Franco and Jason are keeping secrets, so she’ll demand the truth from Franco soon.

General Hospital spoilers say Elizabeth will be horrified when she finds out Franco asked Jason to kill him if need be. That shocker’s coming up within the next couple of episodes – and it’ll set the stage for Jason to face Liz’s fury, too.

In the meantime, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will show up at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place. Alexis was there for Valentin after he learned he wasn’t a true Cassadine, so he’ll hope to return the favor.

Since Alexis is still in crisis, Valentin will bring Martin over in hopes of helping.

Martin will apparently look over Alexis’ legal paperwork and try to craft a good defense for her. Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) story doesn’t quite add up, so maybe this won’t be too hard for Martin.

It certainly hasn’t been too hard for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), who’s been working to solve the mystery with Sam.

Olivia also got some spy tips from Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and used them to catch Tracy in a lie. Now Olivia’s waiting on Tracy to explain what actually went down the night drunk Alexis supposedly ran off the road.

Tracy could be in serious trouble with the police if she admits she framed Alexis for a crime she didn’t commit. Likewise, Tracy isn’t keen on explaining why she set Alexis up. That would mean getting into the whole cheating story – which could destroy Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) marriage.

Tracy will have to weigh her options and decide the best way to handle this, but she won’t be making a full confession. Instead, Olivia’s suspicions will keep piling up. Ned will declare that this ends now, so he’ll be poised to make a confession himself sooner or later.

In Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) office, she’ll react to Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) heartfelt words. Jax told Nina he loved her, so that clearly threw Nina for a loop.

On Tuesday, Jax will sense that maybe he jumped the gun on his love profession. He’ll apologize for moving too quickly or making Nina uncomfortable, but Nina will soon move past her surprise. She’ll confess that she’s longed to hear those words from Jax and may wind up telling Jax she loves him as well.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will have a mountain of worries. There’ll be some issue that arises on Tuesday, which will make Cam worry this is about Franco’s tumor.

Cameron will probably feel like things are worse than Liz and Franco are letting on, but that’s not exactly the case. Things are just a bit more complicated since Franco can’t stop hearing Peter’s voice.

We’ll see how much Cameron learns, but he’ll have something else to focus on soon enough. Cameron will be headed to college before you know it, but he has to get into a good school first. That’ll indeed happen since Cam will receive an acceptance letter – one that means he can attend a prestigious university.

Of course, Franco and Liz have been strapped for cash, so Cameron may fret over that if his scholarship doesn’t cover everything he needs. On the other hand, Cameron is a top-notch soccer player and may get a full ride as a result.

Whatever the case, the thought of bailing on his family right now should be tough for Cam. How can Cameron go off to college when Franco’s battling a brain tumor? Cameron doesn’t know how much time Franco has left – and he’ll struggle with the idea of leaving Liz and his brothers to deal with this alone.

Cam also knows Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) have been through a lot, so he won’t want to leave them either. Even so, there’s no doubt that this will be an amazing opportunity for Cameron. He’ll have to really think about his options before he moves forward one way or the other.

As for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he’ll find Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and warn her about Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) growing threat. Cyrus has been making some bold moves lately – like that deadly warehouse ambush and his push for a favor.

It’s clear that Cyrus is desperate to get his mom back, and desperate people can be real wildcards. There’s no predicting how far Cyrus might go, so Jason will want to give Britt a heads-up on the intensifying danger.

Britt will also feel rather insulted in Tuesday’s GH episode. She’ll lash out after she feels accused of something, but who will be doing the accusing? It’s possible Jason will want to make sure Britt’s still on the right side of this fight. Britt might take it the wrong way and assume Jason’s accusing her of playing him.

However, we also know Britt will see another side of Peter in the following episode. Tuesday’s show might set that up if Britt feels like Peter’s leveling accusations. There’s even a chance Cyrus could come at Britt with some suspicions, so we’ll just have to see who exactly Britt rips into!
