General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 26, teases that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will catch Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) off guard. Since Michael and Willow signed their annulment papers, Willow will bring up the idea of moving out. She can’t exactly stay under the same roof as Michael if she intends to build a life with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) or anyone else.
Michael will look saddened and surprised by how fast all this is happening. He knew what it meant ending the marriage, but he probably didn’t expect Willow to move out so soon.
Michael might remind Willow that she doesn’t have any set timetable for leaving the Quartermaine mansion. As far as Michael’s concerned, Willow will always be part of the family.
Nevertheless, Willow will believe she has to start sorting through her feelings for Chase – and it’d be best to put some distance between Willow and Michael since that’s her plan. Willow may also feel like this will give Michael an opportunity to see where things stand with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
GH fans will indeed see Michael give more thought to his future with Sasha, so some steps forward will be made. However, Chase will take a step back when it comes to the article Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) intends to write. He was OK with his mom writing Sasha’s story at first, but now he won’t be so sure.
This interview could be explosive and do more damage – particularly if Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) feels like he’s being attacked. There’s the potential for major blowback, so Chase won’t want Sasha getting hurt.
Of course, Sasha will probably assure Chase that she’s a big girl and can handle whatever’s thrown her way. She won’t be afraid of Cyrus or the public scrutiny that could come with this exposé.
Other GH spoilers say Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) conversation will escalate. Bobbie tried agreeing with Ava as a way to keep her occupied while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) looked for the necklace.
Since Ava knows how to push buttons, things won’t remain civil at Wyndemere for long.
Bobbie will refuse to let Ava go after her daughter, but Ava will probably feel like Mommy’s fighting Carly’s battles for her. There’ll be an intense argument while Carly gets grilled in Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Scarola) room.
Carly looked panicked as somebody entered, so it seems likely Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will be the one Carly owes an explanation.
If Nikolas spots the two necklaces, he’s going to be perplexed and worried about whatever it is Carly’s trying to pull. Carly may come up with some story on the spot and hope Nikolas won’t mention this to Ava.
Of course, Nikolas doesn’t like keeping secrets from his wife anymore, so Carly’s request would be tough for him to agree to.
General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will have a lot on his mind after this run-in and will soon take his concerns to Laura Collins (Genie Francis). As for Carly, she’ll wrap up her necklace mission – which may or may not be completed depending on how this encounter with Nikolas goes.
Regardless, Carly will talk to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) later and freak over all the complications. It seems Carly may start to wonder if Jax was right – if the truth’s destined to come out now.
Jax will acknowledge that things have gotten more complicated on his end, too. After Carly spills about the pendant switch plot going awry, Jax will offer updates on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Valentin has been hurling accusations about Jax being Carly’s accomplice, so Carly and Jax are making messes all over the place.
While Jax and Carly figure out what’s next, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have a similar goal in mind. What’s Curtis going to do about his fractured marriage? Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) shattered the trust between them, so Curtis will head to the boxing gym and try to clear his head.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will end up asking Curtis about Jordan and his issues with her. Curtis understands that a certain amount of secrecy comes with the police commissioner’s territory.
Even so, there’s a difference between staying silent about random cases and keeping major secrets like the ones Jordan has kept.
Jordan knew Curtis felt guilty about not being able to save Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), but she said nothing. That also hurt Portia and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), so it’s easy to see why Curtis has had enough.
Curtis can’t handle all the lies any longer, but does that mean he’s prepared to divorce Jordan and be done with her?
Portia won’t think Curtis should walk away from Jordan unless he’s sure there’s no hope. If it’s possible that Jordan can learn from her mistakes, maybe there’s a way forward. Curtis won’t be certain, but he’ll keep mulling over his options and will appreciate Portia’s guidance on this.
Across town, Jordan and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will spend some time catching up at the Metro Court. After Anna mentions a dilemma she’s dealing with, she’ll wonder if Jordan has some advice.
Jordan might feel like she’s got too much on her plate to really help Anna right now, but it’s also possible she’ll enjoy the distraction.
Whatever the case, Anna will soon hear about Jordan’s marriage woes and hope things work out with Curtis. When Jordan opens up about secrets destroying her relationship, it could leave Anna with concerns about lying to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
Anna’s letting Finn believe she doesn’t know for sure if she’s Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) mother or not. In reality, Anna knows for a fact that Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) gave birth to Peter. It looks like Anna will continue to keep that secret, but it could lead to more problems for “Fanna.”
Until then, Finn will urge Jackie to tell him the truth. Is it possible that Finn is Chase’s bio dad? Finn may approach Jackie with skepticism about her claims that the timing wasn’t right.
Deep down, Finn seems to know he might be a father candidate – and he’ll apparently want a paternity test to find out with certainty.
This suggestion will throw Jackie for a loop since she thought they were past all this. It’ll be ancient history from Jackie’s perspective, but Finn will feel like they’d both feel better knowing the truth. Jackie won’t like this, but it seems a paternity test will move forward anyway.
Finn will hope that the DNA results prove Chase is his brother – just as he forced himself to believe for many years. Still, there’s a chance this test could prove Chase is Finn’s son.
That news could be devastating if it ends up in Chase or Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) hands. In fact, the news that a paternity test was run at all could bring drama.
