General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 5, tease that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will struggle as he continues to hear Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) voice inside his own mind. Peter will likely bark more orders that ring in Franco’s ears on Tuesday.
Although Franco will try to understand what’s happening to him, he’ll mainly just want it to stop!
Franco will fly into a rage over what he’s dealing with, but maybe someone will come along and offer support. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will certainly remain in Franco’s corner, but Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could also stumble across Franco while he’s having an outburst.
That could be the reason Anna finds out Franco’s being treated by Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Whatever the case, Anna will indeed make that discovery and find it quite worrisome in Tuesday’s GH episode. Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will balk at working with Liesl. In fact, Dante will decline to do it until he gets approval from the WSB.
Naturally, Liesl might find a way to cook up that authorization or convince Dante another way. One thing’s for certain: Obrecht isn’t the kind of gal who gives up easily! She’s come too far to let a minor hurdle like shut down her plans.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will want to get a few things straight with Peter.
It seems Robert will surrender when it comes to the upcoming double wedding, which will feature Peter tying the knot with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) along with Anna’s marriage to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
Robert can’t give his blessing, but he can at least agree not to stand in Peter and Maxie’s way. Peter will be pleased about having one less obstacle, but Robert will put Maxie’s groom-to-be on notice. If Peter does anything to make Robert regret backing down, then Peter’s going to regret it, too.
Sadly, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is still comatose and can’t help Maxie plan the big event. That’ll remain a tough pill to swallow for Maxie, who misses her best friend terribly.
There’s a lot going on in Port Charles that Lulu can’t be part of, but Maxie will hold out hope that Lulu will wake up one day.
Peter may comfort Maxie and get her to concentrate on their own happy future instead. Lulu would want Maxie to focus on the good in her life. The problem is Peter isn’t the great catch Maxie thinks he is – and all his sinister secrets are bound to be exposed down the road.
In the meantime, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) won’t give Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) the response he’s looking for. After Valentin makes a sincere plea, Nina will quickly reject it. She’ll contend that she has to stop kidding herself, so she may turn down Valentin’s offer to find Nina’s missing child.
Valentin has offered his assistance in the past, but he may make another pitch – perhaps based on a new lead or a new resource. Nevertheless, Nina has had more time to think about this, so she may suggest it’s a lost cause.
Nina’s hit plenty of dead ends, so she may think she needs to give up hope when it comes to being reunited with her long-lost daughter.
Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will try to calm Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) down. When it comes to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and the threat he poses, Carly’s convinced that the beast has been tamed.
She won’t think Cyrus is going to be an issue, so she’ll assure Jax of Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) safety.
Jax may flip out and completely disagree once he finds out why Carly’s so certain. Anyone with common sense should know that kidnapping an enemy’s mother is a surefire way to escalate the conflict! Nevertheless, Carly thinks Florence Grey’s (Annie Abbott) snatching was a solution rather than the problem it is.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will have a chance to lash out at Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on Tuesday. This isn’t Jason’s fault, but he’ll cover for Carly anyway. Laura will rant about Jason turning this mob feud into a true war.
Laura will worry about the consequences for Port Charles, but Jason will do whatever he can to keep the people of PC protected.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will especially work to protect his family. That’s why he’ll want to track Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) down and let her know what’s up. Sam will get the scoop on Florence being held hostage and will probably find out Carly’s the real culprit here.
Jason will surely vow to make sure Sam, Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) and Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) stay out of danger. Of course, that’s a promise that could prove difficult to keep! We’ll bring you updates as other GH news pops up.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will land in some tight spots as this hot plot gets even hotter. CDL will have other fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so stop by regularly.
