General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, June 1, teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will sell The Invader, so his secret plans will disturb Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Meanwhile, it looks like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will have some leverage thanks to hostage Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
After a repeat episode on Monday, May 31, we’ll see the action resume on Tuesday, June 1. Here’s what fans can look forward to as several storylines get even hotter.
First, Peter will inform Anna that The Invader’s been sold to a private investor. He’ll note that the transaction happened quickly, but he was still able to turn a profit.
Anna will sarcastically suggest it’ll be a real loss to journalism, but Peter won’t think it matters since Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) destroyed the image he was trying to create.
Anna will feel like Peter’s the one who messed up – and she’ll expect he’s going to be held accountable for his mistakes soon. Peter will insist that Anna has no evidence he did anything wrong.
Even if she did, Peter won’t think Anna could use it since she wants something from him. He’ll expect that’s the whole point of this visit.
Anna will indeed need another antidote dose for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), but Peter doesn’t really have an incentive to offer one since he intends to skip town. He may not be willing to give Anna what Chase needs, especially since she’ll be giving Peter all this attitude.
Anna will have to fret over Chase’s condition as well as the possibility that Peter could bolt with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Since Anna has no idea what’s gone down in Pautuck, she’ll fear the unknown and worry about what Peter’s going to do next.
As for Maxie, she’ll be relieved when Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) arrives to pick her up. Maxie may make sure Austin (Roger Howarth) is OK, but her priority will be getting the heck out of the area before Peter tracks her down.
Maxie will spill the story of what happened to a horrified Brook Lynn, who’ll make sure Maxie gets back to Beechers Corners ASAP.
GH spoilers say Maxie and Brook Lynn will need to have another strategy session as they prepare for the road ahead. Baby Louise will still be passed off as Brook Lynn’s newborn, so they need to nail down the details of this next part.
Over with Chase, he’ll remain in bad shape at the hospital. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will do her best to pry a real diagnosis out of Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). She can tell Finn is keeping secrets, so she’ll want updates on what Chase is really up against and why this is happening to him.
Finn may not be willing to divulge every last detail, but he might admit to Willow that it’s a life-or-death situation – one he’s not 100-percent certain he can fix. However, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) won’t think failure is an option.
Peter already killed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), so Liz will refuse to accept the idea that he’ll be able to kill Chase, too.
While Elizabeth gives Finn a confidence boost and pushes him to keep fighting for a cure, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will pick up on a weird vibe. She’ll be taken aback when Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) seems so glum at his new nightclub.
Laura will think this is a time to celebrate since Curtis is set to open The Savoy and start a new chapter soon.
Unfortunately, Curtis won’t be in a celebratory mood since he screwed things up with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). He didn’t mean to send out mixed signals, but Portia got them anyway and made Curtis uncomfortable with a kiss.
Although Curtis might be open to pursuing things with Portia soon, he’s just not ready yet.
Once Curtis explains his view to Laura, she may think he just has to find a way to make Portia understand. Laura will no doubt trust that Curtis can smooth things over.
Curtis will get a phone call that troubles him before Tuesday’s episode concludes. This should connect to the peril that both Portia and Trina are in.
Cyrus just showed up looking for some assistance since he’s been shot and there’s an APB out on him. Now that Cyrus has to stay in hiding, he’ll need Portia to give him medical attention. If Portia proves uncooperative, Cyrus may warn Trina will pay the price.
Cyrus will encourage Portia to just follow orders and be smart. He’ll think they can all come out of this alive if she just plays by his rules. Luckily, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will come out of her own gunshot ordeal alive.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will want to know when he can see Gladys after he gets positive news.
Gladys may need a little more time to be awake and alert, but she’ll get a visit from Brando eventually. There should be a warm moment as this mother and son are reunited. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will certainly be glad that Gladys didn’t face a grim fate at Cyrus’ hands.
Of course, keeping Gladys alive could be the tricky part!
General Hospital spoilers say Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will hold out hope that Gladys can officially recant her statement and make the case against Cyrus a slam dunk. They just have to keep Gladys alive and willing to follow through.
Cyrus will make some other bold moves as he fights for his freedom and his future, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH. CDL will have other exciting General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so pop back in regularly.
