General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, June 29, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will realize she must become Mrs. Jason Morgan while Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) rages against killer Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) PCPD confession.
First, let’s talk about Finn’s decision to confess. At GH, Finn will point out to Liz that Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) life is no longer in danger.
Now that Finn doesn’t have to be a free man in search of the cure, there’s nothing stopping him from going to the cops and coming clean about Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) death.
Of course, Liz will likely push Finn to think of Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) and drop this ridiculous notion. As far as Liz is concerned, Peter had it coming!
Liz will urge Finn not to let Peter score another victory from beyond the grave, but Finn will talk to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) as his attorney and mull over what’s best.
Next, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will reach an agreement with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Perhaps Britt will find it both sweet and annoying when Liesl can’t stop hovering.
Obrecht may remain nosy about her daughter’s love life, but that might be where this agreement comes in.
Britt could make a deal with Liesl that allows for a little more privacy without shutting each other out entirely.
The silver lining to Britt’s Huntington’s marker confirmation is that it’s strengthened her relationship with Liesl, so they’ll cling to that as something positive – no matter what.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will have a deep discussion about marriage. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) sparked the idea, but Jason and Carly will weigh all their options before settling on this as the right one.
Although a wedding may seem extreme, Carly and Jason will think it’s the perfect way to tell their enemies they’re united as a team.
There’ll still be plenty of details to sort out with the assistance of Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), but Jason and Carly will soon get the ball rolling on their rushed nuptials.
As for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll be on the hot seat when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) pushes for the truth.
Joss will want to know what was behind Michael’s about-face on forgiving Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and letting her back into Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) life.
Michael may admit to facing some pressure from Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), but he’ll downplay the blackmail and avoid hurling insults at Josslyn’s dad.
Even so, Joss may walk away with some questions and anger she wants to unload on Jax later.
Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will spend the night stuck in Austin’s (Roger Howarth) country house. A night trapped in Pautauk will ignite some sizzling chemistry and leave these two struggling to fight temptation.
At the Deception meeting, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will awkwardly congratulate Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) on the baby – and Nina should do the same.
Sasha shouldn’t have to feel bad about her pregnancy, so she’ll hopefully get plenty of reassurance from Nina and Maxie.
As for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), she’ll insist she’s all ears and will urge someone to spill. That could be about Sasha’s latest Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) developments or perhaps a lucrative suggestion about the motherly campaign they’re crafting.
Later, Maxie will be stunned by Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) news. It seems Maxie will overhear something that throws her for a loop and maybe even riles her up!
This could involve the new plan Brook Lynn has alluded to or perhaps some snag that ties in with Valentin.
Whatever the case, Maxie and Brook Lynn should clash a bit more in Tuesday’s episode. They’ll try to get back on the same page and keep the focus on protecting Louise August (Scarlett and Harper Bloom). We’ll offer updates as other info rolls in.
