General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, March 9, teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will continue to wrestle over the gun, which went off at the end of Monday’s episode. That bullet probably flew into a nearby wall, but the next bullet seems poised to hit Franco!
Peter is still featured in plenty of upcoming General Hospital spoilers, but Franco’s set to face a grim fate according to GH insiders. After this showdown reaches a horrific conclusion, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will discover something surprising.
Will Jason stumble across Franco’s dead body? Jason could at least find Franco near death following a gunshot wound.
Whatever the case, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will meet up with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) at GH. Liz will look troubled after she hears about how weird Franco was acting earlier and how he wanted to locate Jason.
Sam will wonder if Franco ever found Jason like he planned to, so Elizabeth’s mind may drift to the deadly pact Franco originally made with Jason.
General Hospital spoilers say a panicked Liz will try to help on Tuesday. That could involve an effort to find Franco before Jason does anything drastic – or perhaps it’ll involve a frantic attempt to save Franco’s life if he’s rushed to GH.
Either way, Franco seems like a goner and Jason’s pretty much guaranteed to get blamed. In the meantime, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will quiz someone to figure out if there’s a plan underway.
No matter what that plan entails, Scott’s going to be focused on a vengeful plan of his own later this week, March 8-12.
Scott’s fury will erupt in the aftermath of what happens to Franco – and that means his anger’s bound to be directed at Jason. Although Jason obviously won’t be responsible for Franco’s fate, that won’t stop everyone from making the wrong assumption following this Peter faceoff.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will have questions – possibly for multiple wedding party members and guests. Jordan will grill somebody about what the plan was without a smoking gun.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) could get cornered for questioning along with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) at some point.
However, General Hospital spoilers confirm Jordan will have a heated confrontation with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) in Tuesday’s show. Robert may be determined to bring Peter down, but what can he do without firm proof against him?
That’s where Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) should come in. Robert will sit down for a chat with the tech expert and hope Spinelli’s willing to rise to the challenge.
That could mean manufacturing evidence against Peter if push comes to shove. Since Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is still struggling to accept Peter’s guilt, desperate measures may be required!
Spinelli may still think Franco’s Drew Cain (Billy Miller) memories will prove helpful, but Franco can’t remember anything if he’s dead! Robert’s backup plan may be required if it looks like Peter’s going to skate by without punishment.
In Maxie’s room at GH, she’ll remain in tears as she lashes out at Anna. Maxie is upset over Anna losing faith in Peter and has just asked if the man she loves is a lie.
Since it’s tough for Maxie to turn against Peter after all this time, she’ll continue to blast Anna instead. Maxie won’t feel like she even knows who Anna is anymore, so she’ll likely push Anna to get out.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will return soon enough, so she’ll push Maxie to see things from another perspective. It’s true that Anna lied about Peter’s bio mom and covered things up with good intentions, but weren’t Peter’s lies far worse?
Britt will try to make Maxie see that Peter’s the real threat and the one with the most dangerous deception.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will have some updates for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Now that the double wedding is over, Alexis may inquire about the outcome. Valentin will note that something’s not the case anymore, so he may confess that neither couple’s likely to wed.
Of course, there’s still a chance for Anna and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to work things out down the road. Finn’s going to need someone to lean on now that Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) knows the truth about what went down all those years ago with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney).
If Finn isn’t willing to let Anna be there for him right now, maybe Alexis can step up.
Regardless, Maxie will have to make a choice for herself on Tuesday. After Maxie listens to what Anna and Britt have to say, it’ll be time to nail down her own path forward.
Will that path still include Peter? No matter what Maxie decides, Peter has more drama ahead of him! He’ll be ready to accept his fate by Friday, March 12, but he’ll also deny any guilt in the week ahead.
