General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, April 21, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will put her foot down with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Carly won’t think there’s anything Carly can do about the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) situation now. Their leverage has been eliminated and that leaves them vulnerable in every way.
Of course, Jason could be at risk behind bars since Cyrus has no reason to keep him alive. There’s nothing to stop Cyrus from ordering one of his men to murder Jason in a prison fight, but Carly will refuse to leave Jason as a sitting target.
“We’re going to do it my way, and we’re going to do it now,” Carly declares in Wednesday’s GH preview video.
Jason won’t like the dangerous plan Carly lays out for him, but Carly will refuse to waver on it. General Hospital spoilers say Jason’s prison escape plot will soon get underway, but it’ll still take a few episodes for all the pieces to fall into place.
At GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will confront Peter August (Wes Ramsey) about his decision to withhold the antidote. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is still suffering thanks to Peter’s poisoning plot, so Anna will ask how far her nephew’s willing to go.
She may wonder if Peter’s just going to let Chase decline to the point that he dies.
Peter will glare at Anna and most likely make it clear that he’s holding all the cards. He’ll enjoy feeling in control as Anna begs for Chase’s sake.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will be desperate to nail down exactly what’s wrong with Chase and help him recover, but it’ll mean skirting around some rules at GH.
It seems Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will catch on and call Finn out, but Finn will be willing to do whatever he has to do. If that means Portia has to turn him in, then he’ll invite her to give Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) updates.
However, Portia knows what it’s like to have a loved one in danger and cross lines as a result. There’s a good chance Portia will be willing to look the other way on Finn’s rule-breaking and may even break a few of her own to pitch in.
In Chase’s hospital bed, he’ll deal with some fears about his romance. Doubts will creep in about whether he’ll really have a future with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), so Chase may seek guidance from Finn as he frets.
Chase will just hope that he can make a full recovery and solidify his relationship soon enough. In the hallway, Willow will speak with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about Chase’s dire condition and how hard the doctors are working to solve his mystery ailment.
Since things are still so up in the air, Michael and Willow will ultimately agree it’s best not to make matters worse. There’ll be time to fill Chase in on their reconnection and desire for their own future later.
Until then, Willow and Michael will just want Chase to concentrate on getting better.
While Michael and Willow make a secret pact, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will head over to Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) place. Liz will seem a bit annoyed over Scott’s advice about getting close to someone again.
Liz’a been having some trouble with Cameron Webber (William Lipton), so this might tie in with him.
Elizabeth is a great mom who always does the best she can, so she may not appreciate Scott coming around trying to act like she could do more. That’s especially true since Liz is drowning in grief and trying to be there for three sons who are mourning as well.
If Scott wants Cameron to drop his Jason vendetta, then he needs to make an effort of his own. General Hospital spoilers say Scott will indeed try to make progress with Cam in that department.
Thanks to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Scott has accepted that Peter was Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) killer.
It appears Scott may want to get Cameron on board with that theory, but that could be easier said than done. As of right now, Cameron feels like he knows for a fact that Jason is guilty. Since Cam can be pretty stubborn, he may need more evidence than Scott has to offer.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will have another conversation about Joss’ waitlist issues and volleyball woes. Maybe Josslyn will eventually think they should talk about Jax’s problems instead.
That could lead to Joss giving Jax a pep talk about chasing after Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) – and Jax actually knows where to look now, unfortunately what he’ll find is tragedy.
Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) yanked Nina’s phone away and snapped at Jax on it, so Jax knows Nina must be in Phyllis’ hometown of Nixon Falls. General Hospital spoilers say Jax will indeed take a trip to Nixon Falls in the coming episodes – and a gunshot wound will be waiting on him once he gets there!
Until then, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will push Elijah Crowe’s (Dan White) buttons by asking Nina to dance. Nina vowed to save one for “Mike,” but Elijah will technically be Nina’s date for the evening.
That could lead to Elijah being a bit territorial, but his issues with Sonny obviously run much deeper than just a firehouse dance and jealousy over an attractive woman.
General Hospital spoilers say the tension between Sonny and Elijah is set to blow! Look for Phyllis to face a shocker, so that could involve this exploding feud or even Sonny’s news that Elijah is a dirty embezzler.
The situation’s only going to escalate from here, so be prepared for a deadly threat. Elijah will apparently plot to kill “Mike” and set up the bullet Jax will take inadvertently later this week, April 19-23. We’ll fill you in as other updates emerge.
GH fans will see some fantastic twists and turns as this Nixon Falls story moves forward. CDL will have all the hottest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for, so make sure to stop by often.
