General Hospital Spoilers Update: Wednesday, August 11 – Jason & Carly’s Risky Mob Move – Jordan Marriage Battle Not Over

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 11, teases that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will consider a risky mob move while Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) doubts Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) guilt. Ava Jerome (Maura West) will also offer good advice, so here’s what the ABC soap has in store.

At home, Carly will fret over the possibility of another mob war and the damage it could do – especially if the Novak clan has teamed up with some of the other mob families in the area.

Jason has a knack for calming Carly down, so that’s exactly what he’ll try to do on Wednesday’s episode.

Carly and Jason will do some strategizing as they prepare to present a united front, so that discussion will include some debate over another possible five families meeting – which could bring some risks to the table.

While Jason and Carly mull that over, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will catch up with her mom. She’ll be taken aback and no doubt annoyed when Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) argues that she made certain Britt would haunt Jason.

Although Britt should appreciate Liesl sticking up for her, she may argue that she can fight her own battles.

Besides, this doesn’t even seem to be a battle Britt wants to focus on anymore. Britt just wants to try to move forward as best as she can, but Obrecht will still hate that her daughter got hurt.

As for Liesl’s romance, love will continue to bloom with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). GH is gearing up for a dangerous adventure story involving Scott and Obrecht, so it’s smart to push them even closer in preparation for it.

Next, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will confide his fears during a conversation with Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

Laura will wonder what exactly Nikolas suspected Spencer of, so Nikolas will admit he confronted his son about being in league with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and stalking Ava.

Laura may think that’s an extreme accusation, but Nikolas might point out that he caught Spencer lying to him about the cockroach and the timing of when he sent the letter back to Ryan.

Even so, Laura may not be convinced that Spencer would stoop as low as to harass Ava and involve a child as young as Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

Of course, Spencer is indeed behind the bogus stalker threat and will pay the price for it soon enough. Nikolas is cooking up a memorable night at Wyndemere, so the upcoming party’s going to take a shocking turn.

In the meantime, Spencer will look forward to having Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) there since he’s basically doing all this to impress her anyway. As for Trina, she’ll head to the gallery and get some great advice from Ava.

That could involve more guidance on Trina’s love life, but there’ll probably be some words of wisdom about Trina’s fractured bond with her mother, too.

Trina’s struggling to get past Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) affair from all those years ago, but Ava may think she should cut her mom some slack. What really matters is the here and now.

Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) wasn’t on good terms with Ava when she died, so Ava knows how important it is to patch things up while you still can. Life is short and unpredictable, so Ava may push Trina to make this right.

As for Portia, she’ll get some guidance from Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as well. Portia will wonder how long she’s supposed to let something go on, so she may be referring to the mother-daughter strain.

Curtis might feel like it’s crucial for Trina to deal with her complex feelings and come to Portia once she’s worked through everything.

Rushing this could mean pushing Trina away, but Portia will just want to get her relationship with Trina back on track. Fortunately, that seems poised to happen before long.

Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will express sympathy for Portia and eventually pay Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) a visit. Stella will be on a mission to get the truth, so she may wonder if Jordan wants to fight for her marriage or not.

Although Stella should be willing to back off, she might argue that’s not what Jordan should be doing if she thinks there’s even a sliver of a reunion chance.

Jordan may argue that she’s already tried, but Stella might think Curtis is stubborn like her and will need a little more convincing if Jordan’s going to make this happen.

However, Curtis is quite interested in Portia these days, so Jordan may have her work cut out for her!

General Hospital spoilers say Stella’s forgotten stolen divorce papers could become a big part of the story soon.
