General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 28, teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) escape answers will be needed while Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) get into a fight. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will also blame Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) for a setback in the life she wants, so let’s talk about all the action.
At the Metro Court pool, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will deliver a warning to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), who’s drawn to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) despite his lies and apparent bad boy status.
Josslyn knows Spencer better than Trina, so she’ll offer some words of wisdom and hope to prevent heartbreak.
As for Portia, she’ll object when Curtis suggests telling Trina about their past together.
Portia won’t think it’s necessary to bring Trina in the loop on her romantic history with Curtis, particularly since it involves deceit and being unfaithful to Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).
However, Curtis will have some good reasons why Trina should get the full picture, so he’ll argue with Portia about what’s best. At the PCPD, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will seek updates from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Falconeri).
They’ll discuss Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) trip to Manhattan and wonder how Anna’s choosing to follow up on what she learned there.
In the sub-basement lab of GH, Anna will grill Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about the missing body situation.
Finn will insist that’s there he left deceased Peter, but Anna will wonder if the doc can say with certainty that Peter was dead.
Finn and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) were in a panicked state, so there’s the potential for even experienced medical professionals to have missed a weak pulse. Then again, this is Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) old lab!
There’s a chance that things will take a super soapy turn if some villain from the past came along and brought Peter back from the dead with some crazy experiment.
Nevertheless, the most likely option remains that Peter eventually regained consciousness and made a wounded escape. Peter might’ve still had help, but there’s perhaps only one way to get firm answers.
Many of the security cameras were turned off, but some areas of the hospital had cam coverage.
With Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) help, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might be able to get some hard evidence thanks to the surveillance footage.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will definitely be eager to find out if Peter’s actually alive in a stunning twist.
Liz may worry Peter will come back for revenge, but at least Finn should be off the hook for killing him!
Meanwhile, Gladys will get some news she finds infuriating – mainly because she’ll hold Sasha at fault.
Gladys will have to make some big changes to her life, but she won’t like them one bit. We may see Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) toss Gladys out and invite Sasha to move in instead.
It sounds like Brando will want to lay down some ground rules if Gladys is going to hang around and be in his life.
Gladys will rip into Sasha for making waves, but Brando may rush to his “baby mama’s” defense.
We’ll see Brando share his vision for the future with Sasha and work on granting three wishes related to their next chapter.
Finally, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a conversation about loss and love.
When Laura assumes Carly might be second-guessing her decision to marry Jason, Carly should set the record straight.
Carly’s committed to this engagement, but it means saying goodbye to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on a deeper level.
Jason will be taking on the husband title, so that’s something Carly will continue trying to wrap her head around.
Carly will continue to mourn for Sonny, so she’ll open up about her lingering sadness and get some comfort from Laura.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will keep putting one foot in front of the other – all while Sonny lives his new life as “Mike” in Nixon Falls!
