General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 17, teases that Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) loved ones will gather to remember him at Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) gallery.
Ava has put together a memorial for Franco with Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) help – and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) should be Ava’s right-hand girl when it comes to the finishing touches.
There’ll be some grand gesture that Ava has in mind as a farewell to Franco, so she’ll hope it’s meaningful to someone. It seems likely that surprise will be for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) since she’s the grieving widow in all of this.
However, Liz may struggle to even find the strength to go put on a brave face in front of all those people. Elizabeth will be stuck in a pit of sadness and anger on Wednesday, so she’ll open up to a visitor at her home.
It looks like Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will check on Liz and her boys as they continue to mourn, but she won’t agree with Elizabeth’s killer accusations.
Although Liz will be adamant that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) killed Franco and will intend to make sure Jason goes down, it’ll be hard for Laura to accept his guilt. Even so, Laura will serve as a shoulder to cry on.
As for the memorial at the gallery, we’ll see if Elizabeth actually makes it or not. Either way, Ava will hope she can do something special as a tribute to Franco’s art and the life he built with his family.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be a memorial attendee along with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), so look for Liesl and Nina to chat in a private moment.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will want to get out of town for a while – and she’ll think a trip to Pennsylvania is the perfect solution. Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) might have more information that’d prove useful to Nina.
Phyllis at least understands Nina’s situation better than most people in Port Charles, so Nina will fill Liesl in on her getaway plans before she heads for the The Tan-O next week.
Over with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), she’ll have a meeting with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) at Kelly’s as they go over some changed plans.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) might get in touch with Sam about the scare she just had at her apartment. Peter came right after Sam left and left Maxie spooked, so that could be a factor in this conversation Sam has with Dante. Whatever the case, protecting Maxie will remain Sam and Dante’s priority on Wednesday.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will apparently hear about all the struggles Peter’s facing and suggest he might be able to help. Cyrus will deliver an intriguing proposal, but Peter will be wary of trusting Cyrus.
Naturally, Cyrus might counter that he doesn’t have much reason to trust Peter either – but isn’t that why they’re two peas in a pod? Cyrus and Peter are both ruthless men who are capable of doing anything to get what they want.
There’ll be opportunities for Peter and Cyrus to find common ground as Cyrus pitches this alliance. It doesn’t look like Peter will accept right away, but General Hospital spoilers say Peter will indeed gain a surprising ally before the week’s over on Friday, March 19.
Once Peter really gives this some thought, he should see that having a partner like Cyrus will only mean more power – and that’s something Peter needs and craves right now.
Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will voice her anger and will expect Jason to do the same. General Hospital spoilers say Carly will shout at Jason and push him to shout at her as well.
Nevertheless, Jason might remain in control of his emotions and perhaps convince Carly to stop having a meltdown instead.
Carly’s been worried about the possibility that Jason will land in prison for killing Franco. That’s certainly not something Carly thinks she can handle – not with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) still presumed dead.
Jason may work to convince Carly that they just have to stay focused and work on making sure Peter pays instead.
At GH, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will cross paths. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will be hopeful that maybe Curtis and Jordan reunited after working through their issues, but they’ll remain separated.
On the bright side, TJ’s love life is looking up now that he’s locked in his future with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos). TJ and Jordan will fill Curtis in on the sweet commitment these lovebirds made when they officially became domestic partners.
Curtis will certainly express his happiness for TJ and Molly, though it could leave him with a twinge of sadness about his own blown-up relationship.
As other GH updates become available, we’ll bring you the latest news. General Hospital spoilers say Curtis and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will grow closer in the coming weeks, so they seem like the new couple to root for.
