General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 3, teases that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will have some new proof to deliver now that she’s crashed the double nuptials.
Liesl intends to blow things up with a major revelation about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) – and it involves the identity of Peter’s true mother.
Obrecht will reveal that Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) actually gave birth to Peter, not Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) like he currently believes. Liesl may end up admitting she got her hands on the flash drive that was part of Alex’s last will and testament.
It contained a message with the truth about Peter’s connection to Alex, so that news will turn his world upside down.
Of course, Peter may be in denial at first – and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) certainly will be. General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will accuse Liesl of lying in Wednesday’s episode.
Maxie will push Liesl to cut it out, but she’ll certainly expect Anna to confirm that Liesl’s got her facts wrong. However, Anna won’t be able to do that since Liesl’s right.
It’s time for the truth to come out, so Anna will confess that Peter is Alex’s son instead of her own. General Hospital spoilers say Peter will blast Anna for lying to him – and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) won’t be happy about the deception either.
It’s one thing for Anna to deceive Peter to protect him, but it’s quite another for Anna to deceive the man she planned to marry. That’s especially true since Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) knew the truth while Finn remained in the dark.
Not to mention Anna and Valentin came up with this abduction scheme behind Finn’s back!
Finn will feel betrayed, so he’ll need some time to mull over the secrets Anna’s kept from him. General Hospital spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will check on Finn in the aftermath of the wedding disaster.
Chase might push Finn to go easy on Anna since Chase knows what it’s like to lie with good intentions and have it spiral out of control. Finn may also think about the secret he’s keeping from Chase and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).
GH viewers know Finn might be Chase’s bio dad, but Chase and Gregory are completely in the dark on that potential shocker.
The point is Anna isn’t the only one who’s been hiding things. It’s just unfortunate Anna chose to lie to Finn for no reason since he would’ve understood.
Anna should’ve come clean the moment she got the genetic testing results back, but she chose to leave Finn out of the loop and has broken the trust between them.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will seem unfazed by Liesl’s grand entrance at the ceremony. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will notice Dante isn’t having a very big reaction, so she’ll figure out Dante already knew Liesl was cleared and in Port Charles again.
Dante may admit Liesl became his handler – and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may have to confess she knew Obrecht was back in PC, too.
Across town, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will sit down for a conversation with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who’ll still be furious with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
After Nina rants about what Carly did to Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), she’ll shift gears and most likely point out Carly wants to keep Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) away from her, too. At least Carly said she would if Nina didn’t play her cards right!
Nina will be appalled over the way Carly thinks she can control everything, including whether or not Nina sees her grandson.
Since Nina will never have the chance to know Nelle as her daughter, she’ll make it clear to Ava that she won’t let Carly prevent her from bonding with Wiley.
Ava will think it’s good that Nina found out the truth about Nelle as well as Carly and Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) cover story about the cliff. Since Ava isn’t a big fan of Carly or even Jax for that matter, she’ll definitely be on “Team Nina” here.
As for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll have a peace offering he’d like to offer someone. Since Carly killed the mood following Nina’s visit with Wiley, Michael might think he should reach out and fix things – perhaps with the promise of another visit.
On the other hand, Michael might feel like he has to make peace with Carly since she obviously wasn’t thrilled about Nina and Wiley’s time together.
Michael will feel like it’ll be better for Wiley if everyone learns to get along, but Carly will suggest an alternative strategy – at least for right now.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will want everyone to take a step back, but what she’ll really mean is Nina should step back! Carly won’t like the idea of Nina intruding on her family and confusing Wiley, but Nina has no intention of letting Carly ruining her plans.
