General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of June 28-July 2 teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will host a chaotic Corinthos party while Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) reacts to his mom and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) decision to wed. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will also make a disturbing discovery, so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.
First, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have a heartfelt conversation – one that will no doubt include the topic of Jason. Liesl might admit she had a little chat with Jason and truly believes he has Britt’s best interests at heart.
Britt might confess that things are moving in the right direction and express hope for the future. However, Jason will be busy mulling over a choice that’ll change everything.
Carly will also turn to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) as she works to nail down how this step’s going to work.
Of course, the step we’re talking about here is marriage! Carly and Jason will plan a speedy wedding as part of their strong, united mob strategy, but Britt and Liesl aren’t going to like this!
As for Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), she’ll grill Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about her time in Nixon Falls before she meets Austin (Roger Howarth) at the Metro Court.
Later, GH spoilers say Ava will discover something unsettling. Some terrible news will head Ava’s way and lead her to call the cops.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogn) will show up at Ava’s gallery to investigate, so Ava may see that it’s going to take more to convince the stalker she’s done with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
As for Nikolas, he’ll need someone to talk to as he battles heartache. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will step up for Nikolas and help him cope as best as he can.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will fret over her son, especially since Ava has been a good thing for Nikolas in the long run. Laura may fear Nikolas will sink back into selfish and sinister territory without Ava as something positive to focus on.
Next, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will get a visit from Nina, who’ll probably want to check out The Savoy and help in any way she can ahead of Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) graduation bash.
Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will also make a play to win Nina’s heart again, but he’ll promptly be rejected.
Nevertheless, Jax won’t be spending Fourth of July alone since he’ll bump into Britt and bond with her. After Britt reacts to Jason’s marriage news and gets some advice from Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), she’ll spend some time with Jax as they open up to each other.
Michael will certainly be thrown for a loop over Jason and Carly’s sudden marriage decision. It seems Michael will find out along with everyone else at a Corinthos family party, so the announcement should spark some mayhem.
Michael will know Carly and Jason are doing this to prove they’re the ultimate mob team, but it’ll still be weird!
General Hospital spoilers say Michael will have to watch Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) support Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in the coming episodes as well, so that’ll bring even more complications to his life.
