General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is in for a rude awakening in the coming weeks. GH fans know Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) put Peter on the spot in the cemetery, where they had an argument about all Peter’s dark secrets.
Peter finally came clean to Valentin about many of his worst offenses, including playing an integral role in Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) abduction and later arranging to have his plane go down.
Of course, Peter was also behind the hits ordered on Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).
Peter framed Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) for all his crimes – and he recently published that tumor article to discredit anything Franco might remember if Drew’s incriminating memories return.
Valentin was horrified, but he ultimately assured Peter that he could count on him. Valentin insisted he would minimize damage for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) sake.
However, Peter’s about to learn there’s a limit to how much Valentin can tolerate, especially when Anna’s safety is a concern.
Valentin couldn’t live with himself if he let anything terrible happen to Anna – and it’s become quite apparent that Peter will do literally anything to keep his future with Maxie, James West (Curtis and Owen Rufca) and their baby intact.
Furthermore, Valentin will find it difficult to look Anna in the eyes and not tell her what he now knows. There’s an intense bond between them, so Valentin won’t want to leave Anna vulnerable or lie to her about the mountain of sinister activities Peter’s hiding.
As a result, General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will make a full confession. He’ll betray Peter and tell Anna every single thing that Peter admitted to him. Anna will reel as she processes Valentin’s claims, but she should trust the source.
Since Valentin cares about Peter, Anna will know he wouldn’t be telling her all this if it wasn’t true.
Anna’s already been shoving down her doubts about Peter anyway, so she’ll accept that she should’ve seen the warning signs. It’ll break Anna’s heart to know that Peter hasn’t truly changed and that he’s still capable of such heinous crimes.
Nevertheless, Anna has grown to love Peter and won’t turn her back on him completely. She’ll think the best thing she can do for Peter is give him a chance to come clean himself. There’ll be a tense faceoff, but it doesn’t look like Peter will give the admission of guilt Anna’s looking for.
That’ll mean moving to Plan B, which should lead to a double wedding trap and some explosive drama. General Hospital spoilers say Anna and Valentin will team up on a risky plan, but we can’t forget that Anna’s keeping a secret of her own.
Peter’s set to learn Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) is his true mother soon, so that’ll lead to chaos and more danger.
