General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may be the one to save Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) from Peter August (Wes Ramsey) in the end. Will the former “daddy” come to Louise’s rescue? Let’s look at what we know so far.
Valentin was crushed when he discovered Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) lied about him being the father “Bailey Quartermaine.” He’s still trying to come to grips with the news and find a way forward that doesn’t include raising “Bailey” as his own daughter.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Valentin can magically stop loving “Bailey” or that he’d even want to. “Bailey” will always own a little piece of Valentin’s heart – and that could be important as we head into the next phase of this storyline.
Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may be in custody, but GH fans know he’s also back in Port Charles. That puts Peter closer than ever to Louise, even if he doesn’t know it just yet. The story’s been set up for Peter to escape and potentially use Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) as his secret weapon once again.
Regardless, it’s obvious Peter’s going to uncover the truth about “Bailey” at some point. Brook Lynn, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are all working hard to keep the real story under wraps, but this is a soap – and that means a juicy secret like this must come out!
Once Peter inevitably figures out “Bailey” is actually Louise, he’ll do whatever it takes to put her in his arms. Peter has proven that when he’s a man on a mission, he won’t let anything stand in his way!
There’s no line Peter won’t cross when he’s obsessed – and he’s most definitely obsessed with getting his hands on his daughter. Valentin tried to bid “Bailey” farewell recently, but he may actually become a big part of what happens next. There’s the potential for Valentin to become Louise’s hero in the end.
Whether Valentin knows the truth about “Bailey” beforehand or not, he might get updates on the baby being in grave danger. Valentin may always feel paternal toward “Bailey” aka Louise, so this could be his opportunity to save his former “daughter.”
There’s no blood relation here, but Valentin can at least prove he’s a father figure that Louise can rely on. Maxie might even be so grateful to Valentin for foiling Peter that she lets Valentin play Daddy to Louise for the long haul.
