General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, December 1 Recap – Victor Crashes Alexis’ Party – Spinelli Grieves for Jason

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 1, reveals that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) crashed Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) party and made a fierce demand while Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) grieved for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Let’s talk about how all the GH drama played out.

At Alexis’ place, she wrapped up a Chinese takeout dinner with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Esme put on her usual phony nice act and insisted on cleaning up with “Spence,” so Alexis privately talked to Shawn about her distrust of Spencer’s girlfriend.

Soon after, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) arrived and hoped he could stick around since he wasn’t keen on being alone right now. Spencer ranted about Valentin not even deserving the Cassadine name, but Alexis insisted she liked the guy and made it clear he was staying.

Next, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) showed up. They offered pie and company since they feared Alexis would be on her own, but Spencer obviously wasn’t happy to see them.

Esme pushed for peace before someone else showed up at the door. Alexis opened it to reveal none other than Victor Cassadine himself! Spencer was stunned and quite pleased to see Victor since he always considered him a great man. Nikolas admitted he already knew Victor as alive before Valentin confessed Victor was his father.

Although no DNA tests had been done yet, Victor and Valentin were fine with consenting to them. Valentin acknowledged that he was 100-percent Cassadine before more fighting broke out.

Victor finally whistled to get everyone’s attention and declared that things were going to change starting now. He felt the Cassadine family should come together against their enemies and prepare for what was ahead.

After Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) made love in her bedroom, they canoodled and acknowledged that this was a long time coming. Sam wanted Dante to stay and sneak out early before the kids saw, but he later woke up to find her deep in thought by the window. Dante moved in behind Sam to nuzzle her and provide some comfort.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) acknowledged that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shares were back in play. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) was on Ned’s side in the rest of the looming war and felt she could trust his intentions now. She offered Ned hope for their relationship and family as well, so he was thrilled.

Meanwhile, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) suggested that Drew must be eager to get back to his old life, but Drew wasn’t certain what that looked like anymore. He complimented Monica on the new decorating before they discussed all the losses the family had endured, including Jason.

Despite the pain of the past, Monica mentioned how Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) asked if she could put some of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Caleb and Kyler Ends) drawings on the fridge. It reminded Monica she could look to the future when it came to their family, too.

Once Drew wrapped up his conversation with Monica, he got a warning from Ned. Now that Drew was back with his ELQ shares, Ned felt Drew could become a target for Valentin.

Outside, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) caught up with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who was feeling overwhelmed and still trying to process the Jason news. Brook Lynn felt it put things in perspective when it came to more minor problems like her dad being disappointed in her again.

Chase was concerned about how Brook Lynn would feel when it was time to hand “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) back over to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), but Brook Lynn was all about doing what was best for “Bailey” and protecting her from Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

After Valentin reported Chase’s assault to Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Mac showed up to question the detective. Chase later revealed to Brook Lynn that he’d been suspended from the force for six months.

On the footbridge, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was sorry for intruding since she didn’t know Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) would be there. They acknowledged that they both came there to try and feel close to Jason again, but Britt was willing to leave if that’s what Carly wanted.

Carly admitted she shouldn’t have said she wished Jason had never met Britt, but Britt felt she was right and remained down on herself. Although Carly knew Jason wouldn’t want her to blame Britt, he was also the person who always helped her do what was right. Carly pointed out that kind of thing didn’t come naturally, but she allowed Britt to stay and cried with her as they stood side by side.

After Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) unsettling call, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) decided they’d go to war if that’s what his enemy wanted. Sonny then summoned Spinelli to fill him in on Cyrus getting a cell phone and calling to taunt him.

When it became apparent that Spinelli hadn’t received updates on Jason yet, Sonny was forced to recap the deadly Cassadine iIland story. Spinelli refused to believe Jason was gone initially and wanted to run thermal heat scans, but Sonny said they’d already been done and that there were no signs of life in the tunnel.

Spinelli finally accepted Jason’s demise and hugged Sonny as he broke down in tears. Although Sonny offered to let him stay, Spinelli wanted to be alone and wrap his head around this. He knew things got a bit rocky due to Carly and Jason’s marriage, but he was glad Sonny worked things out with them before Jason’s death.

We’ll keep you posted as other GH info comes in. General Hospital spoilers say there’s more Corinthos clan chaos coming up, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so make us your one-stop source.
