General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 15, reveals that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) nearly pushed scary Selina Wu (Lydia Look) too far while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) defied orders with a Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) reunion. Here’s how things played out in Port Charles on Wednesday’s show.
As Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) strolled through Rice Plaza, they discussed the news of Brad’s parole.
Michael was adamant about Brad steering clear of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos and left Willow to wait for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), who was about to join her on a shopping trip.
When Olivia arrived with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), there was a tense vibe. Olivia called it out and realized Willow was still upset over Brook Lynn’s recent paternity lie.
Brook Lynn suggested they should just get it all out in the open. She felt Willow was in no position to judge since she cheated on Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) while she was still married to him.
Willow tried to act like she had better intentions and a more complicated situation, but Brook Lynn pointed out that Willow wasn’t in her shoes.
After Brook Lynn stomped off, Willow wound up sitting alone until Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) appeared. Willow was quite cordial with Harmony and even called her “Mom” at one point.
Harmony was hopeful about reconnecting with Willow and forming a bond with Wiley, so Willow seemed open to the idea.
Instead of letting Harmony pass along Wiley’s Christmas present, Willow thought they could work out a time for Harmony to give it to her grandson herself.
In the steam room, Chase spoke awkwardly to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about being honored to be “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August’s father.
Chase was holding off on telling his parents and Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) while he settled into this fatherly role.
Chase wasn’t comfortable with that topic for obvious reasons, so he pumped Finn for information on how things were going with Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) instead.
Finn admitted Elizabeth kissed him, but he was confused and wanted to be cautious due to Violet’s attachment to Liz.
Brook Lynn ended up barging in the steam room, so Finn expressed his disapproval over the paternity lie before he left.
After Brook Lynn ranted about how Chase needed to be defending her, he pointed out that he was supposed to be the injured party.
Chase wanted to discuss this after he showered and dressed, so Brook Lynn suddenly looked at his glistening body like he was a snack in that towel.
Once Brook Lynn tried to leave, she realized she was trapped in the steam room with Chase.
Meanwhile, Terry Randolph (Cassandra Janes) led Liz and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) through a DIY yoga class. A distracted Liz ultimately came clean about kissing Finn and running out of the room afterward.
Since Liz was still wearing her wedding ring and remained in love with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), she worried she shouldn’t be getting involved with Finn right now.
Liz didn’t like the idea of stringing Finn along while she figured things out, but Portia and Terry provided helpful guidance.
After Liz was encouraged to follow her heart, she landed back at GH and was surprised when Finn rushed up to her.
At the Metro Court, Brad was fresh out of prison and uneasy over being in Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) restaurant.
Selina assured Brad that she worked out an arrangement with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and ominously suggested she saw potential in Brad if he listened to her.
When Brad saw Britt get off the elevator, he rushed over to give his best friend a hug. Selina wasn’t pleased over that – nor was she pleased when Britt joined them at their table.
Brad was curious whether Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) was seeing anyone, but Britt encouraged him to look to the future.
That was something Selina and Britt could agree on, but Michael caused a scene when he walked in and saw Brad moments later.
Michael complained about Brad being in his mom’s restaurant and stepped aside with him.
Brad had no intention of causing any Wiley trouble, but Michael didn’t even want his son’s name in Brad’s mouth! Although Sonny made a deal with Selina, Brad wouldn’t be getting any second chances with Michael.
Back with Selina, she tried to act like they had a problem since Britt wasn’t listening to her warning to stay away from Brad. Britt didn’t seem afraid of Selina and later let Brad know she wouldn’t be steering clear of him like his aunt wanted.
When Michael ultimately approached Selina about how disrespectful it was to bring Brad there, Selina didn’t like it one bit. She got up and angrily asked if Michael was threatening her, so there was plenty of tension.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) thought the idea of Alexis joining forces with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) as a PI team was a disaster waiting to happen.
Sam and Alexis wound up clashing slightly over something related to one of Sam’s cases soon after – seemingly proving Kristina right.
Alexis had some advice for Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos), who was going to fly solo on a trial for the first time.
When Alexis realized she was overstepping, she backed off and encouraged Molly to find her own style. Alexis seemed rather lost as she made an excuse and left the house.
That left Sam to scold Kristina and Molly since she’d been trying to help floundering Alexis find a sense of purpose. Sam didn’t expect the PI thing to last forever, but she felt they all needed to step up and help Alexis cope.
Back at Rice Plaza, Alexis ran into Harmony and seemed pleased to see her. Harmony assured Alexis that she was available if Alexis needed a friend to talk to.
General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will keep trying to find a new path, so stay tuned to see what road she heads down.
