General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, December 8, tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will face Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) revenge while Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) decides Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) fate. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also caution Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.
For starters, Sonny will make it clear to Peter that all the rules have been thrown out the window. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is dead because of Peter, so Sonny fully intends to make him pay for that. Sonny will take this opportunity to warn Peter of his impending doom, but Peter will fire back with a few threats of his own.
Peter isn’t the type to get rattled, so he may push Sonny’s buttons over Nixon Falls and remind him that he knows the whole story – including the part where “Mike” was in love with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
However, Sonny will be more concerned with making sure Peter goes down for Jason’s demise and will warn trouble’s coming for him eventually. As for Nina, trouble has already arrived since Willow overheard her conversation with Sonny outside the chapel. Willow just admitted it, so Nina will push to find out what she’s going to do next.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will hope for Willow’s silence and will ultimately get it. Willow will keep quiet for the time being, but she may warn this is strictly about not making things worse for the Corinthos clan. They’re all going through a lot right now in the aftermath of Jason’s death, so they don’t need to pile anything else on.
Nevertheless, Willow may insist that Sonny will have to come clean to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) eventually or else she’ll have to tell the truth. In the meantime, Carly will share some nice moments with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), who’s softened due to this whole ordeal with her grandbaby.
Gladys will open up about her past regrets and will likely swear off scheming for good! She’ll want to be the best grandma she can be, so Carly may think she’ll stop at nothing to make that happen. Gladys appears to have turned over a new leaf, so let’s hope she can stay on the right path.
When Michael gives Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) some support, they’ll admit they’d like to ask him something. Sasha and Brando want to honor Mike Corbin through Liam Corbin’s middle name, so they may ask if Michael’s cool with having another Mike aka Michael in the family.
If that’s what Sasha and Brando intend to ask, then Michael will no doubt give his full approval. He’d be honored to share part of his name with Liam and will truly hope these proud parents get the happy family future they’re dreaming of.
Next, Maxie will corner Austin to give him a warning about Peter, who could be coming after him unless Sonny takes him out first. Peter’s got it in his head that Austin is somehow the problem when it comes to rekindling things with Maxie. He assured Maxie there was only one man for her – and that’s Peter according to him.
Maxie will get updates on Austin provoking Peter and will really wish he hadn’t done that. She won’t think Austin realizes how unhinged and dangerous Peter is, but Austin may think he’s got everything under control.
The doc may be more concerned about how Maxie’s holding up – and it obviously won’t be very well since she was so unsettled by that confrontation.
Even so, Maxie felt she had to speak her mind. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will also speak her mind at the safe house on Wednesday, so she’ll once again be tempted to bail and make sure her loved ones in Port Charles are protected.
Now that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is roaming around town as a free man, Laura has plenty of reasons to be concerned. It’ll be up to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to talk Laura into staying put once more.
“This too shall pass, but not if you do something stupid!” Martin warns in Wednesday’s preview video. Martin won’t want Laura doing anything that could make her an easier target for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to hit, but their brother is coming for them anyway!
