General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, December 8, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will plot to avenge Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) death while Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) plots his next move. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also have a special wish for Liam Corbin, so some great scenes are coming up in Port Charles.
At the police station, Sonny will let Peter know he really crossed the line this time. Peter is used to escaping death and evading the authorities, but Sonny will argue that his luck has run out.
Since Peter’s actions resulted in Jason’s demise, Sonny will want him to understand that the end is near for Peter, too.
As for Peter’s Nixon Falls leverage, Sonny may argue it won’t matter much if Peter’s dead as a doornail!
Of course, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will fear what might happen in the meantime, especially since Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) managed to put himself on Peter’s radar.
After Maxie demands answers, Austin will admit he showed Peter who was the boss of that hospital room. He took great pleasure in inflicting pain on Peter by pretending to miss his vein and pushing his buttons as well.
Maxie will feel like Austin has put his own life at stake and will worry about what might happen if Peter truly has an ace up his sleeve.
Over with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), she’ll have to determine whether Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) secret spills or stays buried.
A frustrated Nina will urge Willow to tell her what she’s going to do, so Willow will eventually settle on silence.
That doesn’t mean Willow will hold her tongue forever, but she should be willing to hold off until the Corinthos family grieves Jason.
However, Willow may insist she’s going to blow the lid off Sonny and Nina’s Nixon Falls love story if Sonny doesn’t eventually make a full confession.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) deserves to hear the truth straight from Sonny, so Willow will trust that he’ll do the right thing when the time is right.
Until then, Carly will be busy showing support for Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) new attitude. Carly will tease Gladys about stopping at nothing to make sure she pulls off her goal.
That should tie in with Baby Liam since Gladys will want to put her past transgressions to rest and concentrate on being a proud grandmother.
Meanwhile, Brando and Sasha will turn to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) with a question that relates to their baby.
Liam’s getting a nod to Mike Corbin (Max Gail) when it comes to his middle name, so Sasha and Brando may make sure Michael doesn’t mind having another Mike or Michael in the family mix.
There’s also a chance Brando and Sasha will want Michael to be Liam’s godfather. That’s certainly an honor that Michael would happily accept if given the chance, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
Other GH spoilers say Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will do everything he can to keep Laura Collins (Genie Francis) alive!
Laura will still be on edge over Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) being unleashed on PC, but Martin will think she’s only going to make matters worse if she takes off.
Martin will urge Laura to be smart and sit tight, but Cyrus clearly has nefarious plans for that safe house.
A woman posing as a nurse showed up there – and she was no doubt carrying out Cyrus’ dirty work. Now it’s a waiting game to find out what Cyrus’ next move will be, but you can bet it won’t be good!
General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus still wants Laura and Martin dead, so there’ll be danger all around them until this threat is eliminated.
