General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, February 17, tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will make some cryptic comments about the winds of change blowing through GH. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) may wonder what else Cyrus has up his sleeve since he’ll be declaring things that seem rather ominous.
As for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), Portia will battle concerns about her as well. She’ll assume Britt’s under Cyrus’ control and will only serve to further his dangerous agenda.
Of course, Britt is wise to Cyrus’ nefarious ways and has become an ally to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Jason and Britt’s partnership will remain tricky since there’s always a chance Cyrus could figure out what Britt’s up to.
Over with Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander), she’ll announce that she objects “big time.” Perhaps Lesley will have an issue with Cyrus’ attempt to bond with Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Lesley won’t be pleased about Cyrus’ plans for the hospital either – and that could lead her to Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) doorstep.
Monica will get a shocking visitor within the next episode or two, so it may be Lesley who arrives at the Quartermaine mansion. Although Monica and Lesley have had a feud in the past, the future of GH is something they can both agree on.
Next, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will meet up with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and wonder if he’s decided to come home. Curtis will scowl at Jordan in response, so he clearly won’t be ready to forgive and forget.
Even if Curtis ultimately caves in, he’ll continue to battle doubts about his marriage and the lack of trust between them. Curtis will be busy on a stakeout with Portia in the coming episodes, so his mind will be on another woman besides Jordan!
At The Tan-O, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be glad to see Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) following her trip to Port Charles. Once Phyllis returns to the bar, she’ll get updates on Sonny’s dream.
Sonny will gush about how happy he was with the blonde mystery woman. He’ll admit he doesn’t remember her face and has no idea who she is, but it definitely felt like she was important to him.
Phyllis may be hopeful that Sonny will remember more in time. She might feel like this is the first step toward “Mike” getting his life back, but let’s talk about Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and the drama she’ll be dealing with back in Port Charles.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is insisting on a confrontation right there in the cemetery, so that’s exactly what’ll go down on Wednesday.
“I want the whole world to know what you did!” Nina shouts in GH’s latest preview video. Carly looks smug, so she’ll probably fire back about how she did nothing wrong.
After Nina admits she overheard Carly and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) talking earlier, Carly may argue that Nina heard the truth then – that she only hesitated a moment on the cliff’s edge.
However, that moment could’ve meant the difference between life and death for Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). General Hospital spoilers say Nina will blame Carly for her daughter’s demise – and Jax will get an earful for encouraging Carly to cover everything up.
Carly once told the lead detective on Nelle’s case that she wasn’t sorry Nelle was dead, so her old comments could come back to haunt her eventually. Since Carly lied to the police about Nelle being by herself at the time of her fall, there’s going to be trouble.
Carly will have a meeting with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) as she works to get ahead of this legal nightmare. At some point on Wednesday, Jason will have a question for someone. “How bad is it?” Jason asks in Wednesday’s GH preview video.
Jason may wonder if Diane can clean up the mess Carly and Jax have created, but Diane will just have to give it her best shot.
