General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 14, tease that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will face off while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) plots a bold move. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will also deliver a big surprise to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), so let’s discuss what’s ahead on the ABC soap.
At Wyndemere, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will give Nikolas a nudge and suggest he must have something to say to his son.
Nikolas should offer another apology and attempt to make amends, but he may not have high hopes for patching things up with Spencer.
Spencer just showed up out of the blue, but GH fans know he’s been lurking around Port Charles causing stalker mischief for a while now.
Of course, Spencer won’t reveal any of that and will actually leave Nikolas surprised in the best possible way.
It sounds like Spencer will be open to bonding with his father again, so that should give Nikolas some joy as he copes with his divorce.
What Nikolas won’t realize is that all his marriage troubles are Spencer’s fault!
Next, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will yell at someone over the phone about no one having more right to a launch than she does.
While Ava deals with some new crisis, Austin will continue to stir up Quartermaine trouble. The name Austin Gatlin Holt alone led to some shocked faces around the room.
Now that Austin has crashed the ELQ meeting and launched his attack, he’ll insist that what was rightfully Michael’s is now rightfully his.
There’ll be plenty of drama as Austin lays out his demands with Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) help. Austin and Michael will certainly spar over the latest revelations, so plenty of action’s in store.
Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) in particular will be thrown for a loop over Austin’s arrival and big news.
As Austin’s full name suggests, he’s the son of an illegitimate Quartermaine named Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond). Longtime fans will get a blast from the past as Austin talks about his father and what he’s entitled to as a result.
It looks like Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will tell Austin to head for the hills since this chaos is nothing compared the storm that’s brewing.
Austin is unleashing total mayhem within the Quartermaine clan – and there’s definitely going to be some nasty backlash!
As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll check out a new lead in front of Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
Finn will wonder if it’s about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) as the awkward tension remains between them.
Anna and Finn will have a hard time figuring how their relationship works as exes, but they’ll keep making this work as best as they can.
Next, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will confess even more to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who’s panicked and confused at this point.
Nina thinks Maxie is teetering on the edge of insanity since Maxie’s been talking about how she’s one with the baby and how stealing her would mean bringing her home.
Maxie will fill Nina in on her scheme with Brook Lynn, which meant handing over Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) to be raised as “Bailey Quartermaine” for now.
Nina will find out that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been duped, so Maxie will wonder how much of all this Nina has a problem with.
General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will count on Nina to keep her secret and protect Louise from Peter.
Despite Nina’s concerns about setting Valentin up for heartbreak, she’ll understand Maxie’s perspective and agree to keep her mouth shut – at least for the time being.
Brook Lynn will freak when she finds out Nina knows the truth, but she’ll be relieved once she realizes Nina’s on their side.
In Nixon Falls, Sonny will be agitated as he makes a powerful declaration. “I don’t know, but I’m going to find a way!” Sonny booms in Wednesday’s preview video.
Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) just showed up with what was clearly bad news following his latest heart tests.
If there are concerns about Lenny not having much longer to live, Sonny may hope to fix this somehow. He might think Nina has some connections with specialists in Port Charles who could help.
Regardless, Sonny won’t want to lose Lenny and he won’t want to watch Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) go through the pain of that either. We’ll bring you updates as other GH details roll in.
