General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 7, tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will steal some time with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) slams Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) for taking advantage. “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also be tempted to take a trip, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
For starters, Jason will request a moment alone with Britt. Jason was with Carly when Britt and Jax stepped off the Metro Court elevator together, so that brought some awkwardness all around.
However, Jason will want a chance to tell Britt that she meant something to him and still does. Britt may continue to give Jason the cold shoulder, especially now that she’s got Jax as a shiny new toy to distract her.
Jax and Britt certainly don’t have a deep connection yet, but they’re having fun – and maybe that’s what Britt needs right now.
Other GH spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will get a full explanation from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about the fire she started with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
After learning Jason and Carly were getting married, Liz helped Sam celebrate her independence by burning items that reminded her of Jason.
That fire got a little out of hand after Sam threw the tequila bottle in, but it’s thankfully been extinguished – and Dante will wind up being pretty sympathetic once he hears the whole story.
Dante will ask Sam if she trusts him, so maybe he’ll have a better idea that’ll help Sam cope and move on.
Over with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), she’ll be devastated according to Wednesday’s spoilers.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also have some news she needs to spill, so maybe Liesl will start going on and on about how happy Britt is with Jason.
Since Nina knows Jason and Carly intend to tie the knot, maybe she’ll be the one to break it to Liesl.
As for Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), she’ll tell Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) they have a big problem.
Monica doesn’t think Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) obsession with “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) is healthy, so she’ll think Brook Lynn needs to set some firm boundaries and dish out some tough love.
While Brook Lynn navigates that tricky situation, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will navigate one of their own.
In the aftermath of the kiss they just shared, Anna will think it was a mistake they should just brush past. “If you ask me, it was long overdue,” Valentin says as he disagrees in Wednesday’s preview video.
Next, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will finally be able to have an interruption-free conversation about their kiss. “We never got the chance to find out,” Joss says in the preview clip.
It sounds like Josslyn will be open to exploring a romantic relationship with Cameron – and that seems to be something he’s interested in, too.
Back with Carly, she’ll blast Jax for taking advantage of something. Britt may not be Carly’s favorite person, but she won’t want to see a vulnerable woman sign up for more heartache.
Carly may think Jax needs to back off and let Britt heal, but he may argue that he’s helping her do that by serving as a distraction.
In Nixon Falls, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will push “Mike” aka Sonny to go visit Nina in Port Charles. She’s brought up this idea before and has even offered her car for the trip, but Sonny should remain reluctant to leave for multiple reasons.
Sonny doesn’t want to intrude on Nina’s life in PC, but he’s also concerned about Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) being in poor health.
Sonny will put off his Port Charles journey for now, but you can bet Phyllis will keep pressuring him.
It’s only a matter of time until Phyllis wins this argument, so Sonny should indeed head to PC down the road. We’ll provide updates as other GH info rolls in.
