General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, June 23 Recap – Chase Can’t Walk – Carly Derails Britt & Jason Passion – Brando’s Big News

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 23, reveals that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) learned he couldn’t walk while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) derailed Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) passion. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) also had some big news to deliver, so here’s how it all played out on Wednesday’s GH episode.

At the cemetery, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) arrived to visit Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) grave and saw Carly there visiting Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) grave, too. Liz apologized for losing faith in Jason and was glad he had Carly to count on.

Carly appreciated the apology since she knew how hard it was to admit when you’re wrong. She also understood Liz’s grief, though she wished she didn’t. As for Jason, he gave Britt a boxing lesson as they flirted like crazy at the gym.

Britt talked about how finding out she had the Huntington’s marker somehow became oddly freeing. The diagnosis made it so Britt and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) said things to each other they wouldn’t have otherwise said.

Britt took comfort in helping others battle curable illnesses and had a long list of things she wanted to do – like skydiving, bungee jumping and trading her car in for a new Porsche.

Jason thought that last one was a terrible idea since Britt is such an awful driver. They were about to lean in for a kiss when Carly came barging in and loudly announced she needed to talk to Jason about the Novak situation.

At Kelly’s, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) surprised TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) with a mug that had their picture on it. She revealed it was a gift to celebrate their five-month anniversary of becoming domestic partners.

Just outside, Brando and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) had a fun first official date, though Sasha seemed a bit uneasy about Brando’s updates on Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Brando admitted that Gladys wanted to stay in town and help take care of the baby.

Once Brando and Sasha entered Kelly’s, they shared some uncomfortable moments with Molly and TJ. After they passed along the pregnancy news and headed outside again, Sasha sensed there was a story behind the awkwardness.

Brando confessed to sleeping with Molly when she thought her relationship with TJ was over, but Sasha wasn’t bothered since they both had lives before each other.

Back with TJ and Molly, they discussed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finding her purpose behind bars and staying sober.

Molly had a hunch that the friend Alexis was helping was Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), but she thought the important thing was for Alexis to have something to focus on.

At Pentonville, Alexis and Shawn looked through the sentencing records that Molly delivered. Just as Alexis suspected, there was a pattern of Judge Carson giving harsher sentences to people of color.

Shawn was worried about more than just him since so many others were affected by Judge Carson’s rulings.

Alexis pointed out that they didn’t want Judge Carson to get wind of their plans too soon and intended to bring Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) in on this. At Kelly’s again, Molly and TJ agreed they could get through anything together.

Right after, Judge Carson walked up to Molly’s table and remembered her as Alexis’ daughter.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) pushed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to nip the lie they were telling in the bud.

Brook Lynn didn’t see the need in dragging things out and urged them to tell Chase the truth about their love.

Willow knew she had to come clean, but she worried about seeing the look on Chase’s face when she revealed this wasn’t real. In Chase’s room at GH, he shared some sweet scenes with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

Chase felt like everything was right in the world – and Finn noted that this ordeal showed the strength of their family.

After Chase asked if they should group hug, Finn suggested it’d be best if his brother didn’t stand for a while. Chase mentioned that his legs still felt numb anyway, so Finn tested him while Chase looked at his phone.

Finn was unsettled as he realized Chase couldn’t feel anything on his feet. When Willow walked in, she instantly picked up on the troubling vibe in the room. Chase admitted he couldn’t walk and left Willow stunned.

General Hospital spoilers say Willow and Michael will keep their love a secret as a result, so stay tuned to watch them navigate this lengthy ordeal. CDL will have other sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news posts, so pop back in soon.
