General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, June 30, tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will suspect Austin (Roger Howarth) while secretive Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) upsets Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also need Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) legal help, so here’s what viewers can expect on Wednesday’s exciting episode.
At the Metro Court, Sam will grill Austin and narrow her eyes over what he might be hiding. “Is there anything you’re not suspicious of?” Austin asks in Wednesday’s preview video.
Austin will continue to act like he’s got nothing to hide, but GH fans know Austin is indeed keeping a few secrets.
As for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), he’ll sit down for a chat with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Nikolas will talk about how Ava is “learning to get over it” and will seem distracted by the sight of Ava nearby.
No matter how Ava chooses to handle things while they’re apart, Nikolas is hoping the trap he plans to set will pave a way forward.
Back with Ava, she’ll bump into Austin for an intriguing encounter. Austin will be next to Ava as she seemingly gets riled up at someone.
“That’s something I can fix,” Ava insists in Wednesday’s preview clip. She’ll look rather determined, so we’ll see what plot Ava comes up with to handle the crisis.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will have a crisis of her own going on as she keeps working to stop Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) confession. After Liz pushed Finn to keep his mouth shut, an unexpected visit from Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) affected his view.
It obviously left Finn thinking about what it’d mean to confess and potentially be separated from his little girl indefinitely.
Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) just arrived at Finn’s request, so Finn will admit he indeed needs legal representation.
Finn might make sure attorney-client privilege is in place before filling Scott in and getting advice. Then again, maybe Finn will change his mind and offer another excuse entirely.
Either way, Scott will push Finn to think about his family and put them first. He’ll think that’s the most important thing, so Finn should agree in the end.
Meanwhile, Carly will need attorney-client privilege as well as she begins a discussion with Diane. The two of them will have to talk about the possibility of Carly marrying Jason.
Jason admitted this is the best option from a business standpoint since the Corinthos organization’s enemies expect a bold move.
Marriage is preferable to making Carly disappear or exiling her somewhere far away, but that doesn’t mean taking a step this huge will be easy.
While Carly explains and gets guidance from Diane, Jason will apparently be cryptic with Britt. Although Jason may not want to get into the details right now, he might let Britt know things are too complicated for them to pursue a romance right now.
Later, Britt will sit down with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) at Charlie’s Pub and suggest “it’s a little late for him to be keeping secrets from me.”
Britt will flash a smile, but it’ll likely be a phony one after she’s irritated over the latest Jason developments. Of course, the worst blow should come once Jason and Carly ultimately make a firm marriage decision.
In the meantime, Jason will battle suspicions and feel the need to intervene. “Is there a problem here?” Jason asks someone in Wednesday’s preview video.
We’ll see if that involves protecting Britt or someone else, but Jason will definitely be on high alert.
Finally, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will make a baffling discovery, so we’ll see if a new clue surfaces in Pautauk after all. We’ll keep you posted as other GH news and updates emerge.
