General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, June 9 Recap – Chase’s Nosebleed & Seizure – Maxie Blunders Overs Baby Louise

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 9, reveals that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) suffered a nosebleed and a seizure after the cure went wrong. Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) made some Baby Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) blunders and had to cover for herself.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) remained on the phone with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and suggested they could talk about boundaries once she was back.

Nina was thrilled over the prospect of spending time with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), though she admitted she might need a little more time to wrap things up in Nixon Falls.

Nina also wondered what made Michael change his mind, so he suggested that he weighed the pros and cons. Michael added that he made the best decision he could under the circumstances.

After hanging up, Michael made it clear that this had changed his relationship with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Jax insisted he’d still be there for Michael if he needed anything, but Michael wondered who would be there for Jax!

As for Nina, she filled Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in on her chance to be in her grandson’s life. Sonny knew that’s what Nina wanted and implied they had a case of bad timing since they also wanted to pursue a relationship.

“Mike” suggested the only thing to do was say goodbye, though he joked about tagging along and pushing Wiley on the swings. However, Sonny knew the boy’s father probably didn’t want Nina bringing a stranger around.

A saddened “Mike” expected Nina to move home and resume her old life. Sonny just didn’t think Nina would want to return to Nixon Falls.

Nina didn’t think this had to be forever and ultimately decided she’d return to Sonny. She vowed to bring a gift, but Sonny insisted Nina was the only gift he needed.

When Nina got on the phone with Jax, she wondered if he had anything to do with her good Wiley news. Jax avoided answering and hoped to see Nina when she returned to town, but she didn’t seem keen on the idea.

Nina was hesitant to leave without saying goodbye to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) and Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton), but she decided to go ahead since she planned to return.

Sonny gave Nina a jar of his special sauce and intended to hold her to the dance she owed him. Nina shared a passionate kiss moments later.

At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) assumed Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was behind the dagger through the photo and found a note on the back of the pic.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) read a disturbing poem that Ava viewed as a threat to his life, so he suggested they should call the police.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived and gave them attitude the entire time. Ava was offended since she thought Dante would be more concerned if someone he cared about was in danger.

Nikolas was concerned since someone was able to break into their home and knew the security code for the trophy case the dagger was in. He intended to hire a private investigator to look into this.

Dante thought Nikolas should take Ava out of the house and make PI arrangements elsewhere since there was a threat. He suggested Ava and Nikolas could be killed if they stayed on the island – or if they stayed together in general.

Dante also proposed the idea that perhaps Nikolas was the intended target, not Ava. He noted that they might be dealing with a Ryan copycat stalker who wanted Ava to leave Nikolas.

At the hospital, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) assured Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that the cure was real and explained that he got a different perspective that helped.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) summoned Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) so she could get her cheek swabbed along with Finn.

Finn explained that he had to mask the cure with something Chase’s white blood cells wouldn’t attack. He noted that Chase’s body would recognize the DNA from which he was created – from his mother and father.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) joked around with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) upon returning to GH. Britt also admitted she wouldn’t tell the staff about having the Huntington’s marker. She knew Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would keep the secret, and Liesl agreed Britt had chosen a good confidant.

Suddenly, Britt grew concerned when she realized Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has been admitted last night. In her own hospital room, Maxie looked at “Bailey’s” birth announcement on her tablet before Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) appeared.

Anna was focused on finding Louise rather than Peter August (Wes Ramsey), which irritated Maxie.

“No, stop! Just forget about Louise!” Maxie shouted. She managed to cover before Anna made a phone call to say she wouldn’t be joining Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and the rest of the baby search party.

Obrecht found Anna growing frustrated over the delayed elevator and offered to take her somewhere to break things.

They wound up at a place where they could demolish stuff, so Anna selected a baseball bat as her weapon of choice while Liesl went for the crowbar. Anna seemed reluctant to unleash her fury once they were in the room with their protective gear on.

Liesl sneakily provoked Anna into getting angry with Peter all over again, so they both smashed up the room in a fit of rage. When she was done, Anna thought she might have to get a membership to this place.

Liesl gave a powerful reminder that Anna wouldn’t be able to find Peter or the baby until she found herself.

Back with Britt, she stopped by to see Maxie and wondered if she went through with the baby plan. Maxie lied that she couldn’t since that psycho nurse ruined everything.

Britt apologized for not being there, but Maxie insisted Louise would be just fine. Her confidence puzzled Britt, but Maxie just acted like she had to believe that to keep from falling apart.

When Michael arrived at GH, he was amazed to get updates on the cure for Chase. Michael and Chase joked around, but things took a scary turn as the dose took effect. Chase’s nose began bleeding before he had a disturbing seizure.
