General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 10, reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) took a spy’s bait with a new music act while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) missed The Tan-O.
For starters, Sonny took Phyllis Caufield (Joyce Guy) and was glad she liked the energy of the place since he’d purchased it. Sonny argued that the place needed a terrific manager and felt Phyllis could be a miracle worker there.
Meanwhile, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) was surprised to find Nina by the bar. Nina explained her options around town were limited due to her pariah status, but Shawn suggested that perhaps nothing was lost forever.
Sonny looked rather wistful and perhaps even a bit jealous as Nina laughed with Shawn over a bubblegum ice cream story.
While Nina was in the restroom, Sonny reunited with Shawn. He knew Shawn didn’t want to work in the business and respected it, but he still wanted to offer help if needed.
Shawn reassured Sonny they were all good while Nina talked to Phyllis about Sonny’s manager idea. Nina was enthusiastic – and Phyllis was receptive as well in the end.
In a moment alone, Nina praised Sonny for going the manager route since Phyllis never would’ve accepted something as extravagant as the pub itself. She thought Sonny cared about people as much as “Mike” did, so the comment made things a bit awkward.
Even so, Sonny and Nina were on the same page about missing The Tan-O since there was no other place like it.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) confessed to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) that she wouldn’t be back at the dorm tonight since she was staying over at Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) place and would be losing her virginity tonight.
Trina thought this seemed impulsive and felt Joss was leaving part of the story out. Josslyn eventually admitted Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) said something that led to this, but she also thought she was an adult and should be taking this next step.
Trina didn’t like how Josslyn was making this seem like something to check off a bucket list. She argued it should be about wanting to make that commitment to Cam and urged Josslyn to do what she felt was right. The besties hugged as they expressed their gratitude for each other.
Next, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) came home to a surprise party that Cameron kept trying to hurry along. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) Aiden Spencer (Enzo De Angelis) and Cam were all on hand to celebrate.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) also headed to Liz’s place and joined the party briefly. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) then came over and made a fuss about how Finn should get his “girlfriend” to give him updates on Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
That brought some awkward moments due to Liz and Finn’s romantic interest in each other, but Finn insisted he was no longer with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) – not that she ever told him about WSB business anyway.
Scott whined to Nikolas about how he’d offered his resources before, but Nik shrugged that it didn’t pan out and couldn’t help.
Aiden mentioned how the last time the house was decked out like this was for Liz’s anniversary to Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Liz also eavesdropped as Scott acknowledged that Franco was no longer around for the big stuff Cam was going through.
Scott offered to listen and later gave Cameron a condom after urging him to be safe. Once Josslyn was there and everyone else was finally off for the rest of their evening’s plans, Cam and Joss were glad to have the alone time.
At The Savoy, Curtis was frustrated over his live band being double-booked and unable to make it. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) arrived with a solution since she had a patient who played bass in a popular band. Unfortunately, that act also fell through.
Curtis soon learned there were concerns about mob violence due to what happened at The Savoy recently, but Linc Brown (Dan Buran) the music producer was there for the show and offered another singer. Once Curtis checked the guy out online, he was on board.
Afterward, Linc met “Marshall” (Robert Gossett) aka the mystery man in the back alley and let him know the crisis had been averted – just like “Marshall” wanted.
At GH, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) heard about Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) trip to Crete with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and wondered if they were an item.
Sam sensed that Maxie was having a negative reaction to that idea and worried it was because of Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).
However, Maxie gave Sam her full support while Dante bumped into Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and got the news of her pardon.
Although Alexis suggested she didn’t deserve to be free, Dante felt she’d kept her promise to take responsibility and was on a better path.
When Nikolas showed up at Kelly’s looking for Spencer, Trina admitted she hadn’t seen him since they were all at the gallery earlier.
Trina also confessed to telling Spencer to be his own man and stop acting like a “money-grubbing little phony,” so Nikolas praised Trina for being perhaps the only one who could get through to his son.
General Hospital spoilers say there’s hope for Nikolas and Spencer’s broken bond, but it’ll take some serious work to repair it.
